    NINJA Question –

I’m a little underwhelmed with the new version of the MCQ. But as most people are resistant to change, maybe I’m just complaining and it will grow on me in time.

One concern is I can’t seem to find the option to mark a question as a guess. In the past, I would do that for ones I didn’t know the answer, read through the solution to learn it for next time, and it would show up later as a question I got wrong.

With the new software, I can’t seem to display the solution without submitting one of the answers, and if I guess right, it’s not going to get lumped in with the wrong answers. And I can’t click back and re-answer it “wrong” like you can on Roger.

Should I just skip the ones I can’t figure out and then go through them one by one in the session results, or am I missing the guess button?

My course did not have that feature. That guess button seems pretty handy!!
I hope you get it figured out.

I kind of wrote half the post, went and messed around with the software, then back to finish posting.

Technically, yes we can view the solutions and get them wrong by skipping them, but as I wrote above, that will have to be after the session ends. Better than nothing, I suppose.

I don't remember the old MCQ having a testlet choice of just bookmarked questions, so there's at least something to make up for it.

That's something I can add to the list for future iterations…it's always had to know which features are fluff and which are a value-add.

The new software better mimics the AICPA exam layout and is cleaner (I think).

BEC has sims now – which is also a big change.

    BEC - 80
    FAR - 76
    REG - 92

Please have it added in the future, us poor Ninjas need all the help we can get. And as always, thanks Jeff for the great product.
