Do you mind sharing what went wrong the first time? I am always curious. Thanks for sharing.

Why are you all using two CPA review programs? It looks like a lot of you are using Becker and Ninja.

I don't know about everyone else, but I use Becker and Ninja because I want both styles of material. For instance, for FAR that I just took, I listened to the Becker lectures, etc, and there was a topic I didn't quite grasp, but the way it is explained in the Ninja book/notes/audio made it easier for me to understand. I also like the extra MCQs to go through. That's my personal take.

    FAR - 61, retake 1/22

    AUD - 2022

    REG - 2022

    BEC - 2022

Yes I agree with @ChristieF I already have Beckers so why not use it as a resource. If anything is not making sense in one material I use the other. The goal is to get the content as clear as possible because anything on exam day can be asked!

How do I find a study schedule for BEC for 5 weeks? I messed up my first 2 weeks of studying and I am scheduled to take the exam on Jan the 18th. Thanks

I had Wiley from grad school- so I was able to just purchase the upgrade, so I have and like Wiley. I supplemented with Ninja because.. for one, I started to get unmotivated with Wiley. I needed something new to look at! I also like the different take on material- going through the material and reading it in different words helped with retaining topics and getting a better understanding. Do you only use Ninja @Deborah?

Yes, I only use NINJA, and I will only use NINJA. It's affordable, and it makes sense to me. It's also a robust community that is helping me with my mindset, motivation, and the optimism that I will be successful my first go around. I am retaining the material, so I will see how it turns out. I take BEC in Jan

@Deborah, if you look on the Ninja dashboard, there is a study framework, and there is a 4-week accelerated version. May tweaking that may help you with your 5 week timeline to study for BEC. Hope that helps and Good luck!

Good Luck @Debrorah I would say to really go through those sparring videos they really help retain the material and do one topic at a time and before you know it you would have gone though all the material. good luck

By this time I’m sure you have overcome the drop in motivation and gone on to conquer BEC (and maybe REG as well). I will appreciate you sharing your story about how you made it (conquered BEC). I’ve taken BEC twice so far and failed (70 & 74). It seems harder than I anticipated. So far, I’ve largely relied on NINJA for study and practice questions. But I realize NINJA may not be enough, as there were many questions/topics on those two attempts that I never came across during my study. Therefore, I’m switching to Surgent for my third try. Again, any pointers on how to overcome BEC would be helpful.

    Hi Everyone,

I'm Vicky and I'm currently studying for FAR. I've tested for both FAR and AUD before but no luck. Hoping to clear three sections before October so it'll be tough but I'm hoping I can do it since I've studied both FAR/AUD material at least once.

Looking forward to exchanging advice with you all!

Hi I see that you have tested for both FAR and AUD in my experience stick to one and while you wait still go through the material because if you do fail and we hope we don't, but if you do you can be ready for a retake right away not to waste any time, I don't know if that works for everyone but I used to bounce from FAR to AUD and no success. Taking the retake right away helped me a lot clearing both. Good luck!

Good luck, Vicky. Please give tips on how you cleared BEC; I’m still struggling with that one. Thanks.
