For those of you who use Gleim CPA Review‘s Test Bank for REG, what were you averaging before the exam?

I used it for FAR and averaged in the 80s and passed the exam, but I’m really worried about failing with REG based on my average. Are the questions for REG in Gleim harder or is it just my weak section?

I have studied the same way I did for FAR, but I’m not seeing the same results from Gleim. I felt fairly confident after completing the full Becker course, but feel so discouraged with Gleim. I know Gleim is known for overpreparing candidates, but it didn’t feel this extreme with FAR. Most people say REG is easier than FAR, so I’m really questioning how I should adjust my studying.

Wiley also overprepares you imo, but some of the questions were exactly the same as I encountered on the exam later, so I don't necessarily feel it was a waste of time or overkill. But yeah, a lot of the hard questions were just too esoteric and off-the-wall to be useful.

    A: 75
    B: 72
    F: 78
    R: 75

REG mcq for Gleim was like steroids. Toughest section for Gleim hands down. I had lowest average score out of the 3 sections that I used Gleim for. An average of 71.42 for the overall test bank for REG and passed with an 82. On my other two section that I used Gleim(AUD/FAR) I had 80s average score.

    AUD - 82
    BEC - 80
    FAR - 81
    REG - 82
    FAR - 74 first attempt

How well/close does NINJA prepare people for REG? I'm doing well on the NINJA MCQs, and it's sporadic with Gleim, sometimes 15 correct in a row, followed by 10 incorrect. I don't sweat the small details I assume won't be tested but some of the stuff on it is brutal.

I stopped using it because although it is very difficult, it is also mostly a waste of time with some topics. Most of the questions in the test bank you wont receive on the exam. I started using my Becker questions instead and those were more realistic. I passed in Q1 with a 90 so its not 100% necessary to pass.

    AUD - 79
    BEC - 92
    FAR - 82
    REG - 90

My understanding is Gleim bakes all the EA questions into their REG test bank.
I did not use Gleim for REG, but I did use it for the EA exams.
I would not be too worried about low scores in the Gleim TB. If you can get 60's or 70's there you should be fine.
