    I’m loving the Ninja MCQs but heard Gleim SIMs prepare us well for the actual exams. Does anyone know how much it costs for REG?

    I'm pretty new to accounting and wonder if GLEIM would be overkill for me.

    Would Wiley lectures and Gleim testbank be better for someone who needs a bit more help with the concepts? I don't really know how much patience I have for lectures though. I usually hit the questions part of lessons to understand the lesson itself.

    Gleim for REG really prepares you on the Tax & Property Transactions portion. The BLAW is not really tested much on the exam.

    I passed with an 87 which was a total shock.

    AUD - 90
    BEC - 78
    FAR - 84
    REG - 87

    Anyone still recommend Gleim? Some guy talked about failing harder from Becker to Gleim – I kinda don't believe him/her. I used Roger and failed. As I am going through the MPQs for Gleim, I actually can see why I failed. Gleim is just hitting the notes. Getting pissed off every question though lol. Anyone care to join in 2018 about Gleim?

    I used Gleim test bank to supplement with Roger CPA review when I prepared REG exam.
    Roger CPA gave me a initial understanding of the concept.
    Gleim brings the concepts deeper. The explanation of each MCQs and SIMs really helps me to understand more about tax laws.
    Also, the Gleim has lots of questions about self employment taxation which appear in the REG SIMs (real exam).
    If I didn't use Gleim test bank, I probably couldn't answer those questions on the REG SIM

    Thank you. Which practice exams did you use (Roger or Gleim)? You passed so well with a 90+. My day to day regiment is to do MPQs, read the notes, and just tried incorporating practice exams. Do you recommend Roger CRAM?

    I used GLEIM exclusively. Only MCQs, no SIMS, save for a few research questions. Felt very prepared in the exam. The MCQ is the hardest of all GLEIM sections, though. Felt disheartened while studying, but it made the exam feel very smooth. I'd recommend it, with the caveat of not feeling disheartened with the difficulty, as it is significantly more difficult than the actual exam.

    @AF
    Thank you so much! Very blessed to get advice from those who passed! I feel like crap when doing the MPQs, kinda getting lost in the details per section, wondering when I will move on from corporate tax to partnership tax etc. But I do feel more prepared. I'm the type of guy that needs to get ready to destroy something to pass something basic. I think Gleim difficulty does that.
