Hey everyone. Long-time listener, first-time caller here.

With the upcoming Q2/Q3/Q4 2017 score releases, I’d like to collect data on Becker mock exam performance compared to actual exam performance.

Eventually, I’ll populate this spreadsheet with data if this catches on and people start reporting scores.

There’s plenty of similar threads and the like out there, but I’m worried that older data might not accurately reflect the new exam. So, I’d like to get a fresh start and include only data from those that used Becker v3.0+ and took the exam during or after Q2 2017.

I’d also like to improve the comparability of data by having everyone report in the same way. Reporting scores by testlet for the MCQ section and by individual simulation for the those testlets will improve the quality and usability of the data.

See an example of how to find and report your scores here.

Please report scores as a percentage of points available in a particular section. Simulation scores should be reported by individual simulation.

Example: For the REG MCQ testlet #1, someone who scored a 29/38 should report an 76.
Example: If Becker reports 34 points available for a simulation, someone who scores 22 points should report a 64.

    A comprehensive example:

    REG Mock exam #1
    MCQ Testlet 1: 76
    MCQ Testlet 2: 79
    Sim 1: 13
    Sim 2: 20
    Sim 3: 100
    Sim 4: 0
    Sim 5: 100
    Sim 6: 59
    Sim 7: 75
    Sim 8: 83

    REG Mock exam #2
    MCQ Testlet 1: 81
    MCQ Testlet 2: 73
    Sim 1: 50
    Sim 2: 100
    Sim 3: 100
    Sim 4: 78
    Sim 5: 100
    Sim 6: 100
    Sim 7: 85
    Sim 8: 100

    Actual Exam Score: 85

Thank you for your help in data-gathering. I think this info will be useful to many candidates worrying about how well-prepared they are for the new exam format (myself included!) Let me know if you have any questions.

Since I have benefitted from these comparisons before, I'll pass along my experience.
    REG

    ME1: 62
    MCQ 1: 79
    –MCQ 2: 73
    –SIM 1: 61
    –SIM 2: 73
    –SIM 3: 34

    ME2: 68
    –MCQ 1: 60
    –MCQ 2: 55
    –SIM 1: 88
    –SIM 2: 70
    –SIM 3: 81

ME3: 23 (I'd throw this out, because I didn't do any MCQs here)
–MCQ 1: 0 (did not complete)
–MCQ 2: 0 (did not complete)
    –SIM 1: 50
    –SIM 2: 83
–SIM 3: 34 (I did complete this one, but I whiffed on the MACRS sim here)

    Actual Score: 93

There are a lot of disclaimers I'd put on this particular information, but all the mocks were taken within 7 days of the test and I honestly only put in about 15 hours, if that, shoring up the SIM topics I struggled with. Though the percentages are low on a few, it was typically a bigger SIM I struggled on.
