I never knew this, so wanted to share. Becker does have an extension policy! The guidelines are as follows:
– Have an exam scheduled within 1-3 months from the original software expiration date
– Have your original software serial number
– Have not been granted a courtesy extension in the past for the same year’s materials
Just give them a call if you meet this criteria. I have FAR scheduled for 8.28 and my software expires 8.8. I am going to go ahead and schedule my REG re-take for November to take advantage of extending my software for the maximum 3 months. This should be just enough time if I buckle down to past the last two parts of the exam without shelling out excessive additional funds for study material.
