I’m sure this has been asked many times. I know you will pay a premium for purchasing Becker CPA Review. However, if Becker really has better books, lectures, MCQ, TBS, and material I will pay the purchase price no questions asked. I start taking the exams in July (FAR first) and want to get this crap done with in the best manner, even though it will be very challenging.
So, was it worth the cost for Becker? Thanks!

I only used Becker as well so I cannot comment on other programs.
It worked great for me. A few chapters I would recommend improving since sometimes it kinda jumps around the place (Like F2 in FAR has a lot of materials that you may not understand in the MCQs until you look at F10).

During my times of studying, a lot of people love using Becker & the ninja notes. Also heard people liking Wiley too.

Well, Becker is the most expensive course without discounts. Many have passed with it, the worth will be in how you use it. Do you really know how to study, or are you going to really study.

Are there any stories of people who failed with a mid-range review course and ended up passing only after they switched to becker?

    BEC - 78 (August 2015)
    FAR - 80 (November 2015)
AUD - 73, 67. (Ok I gotta confess I was even more lazy this time around)
    REG - August 27th, 2016

    Good question ^

Seems like the consensus is Becker is the best due to its structure and comprehensive material. Just overpriced.

The book is much better than gleim. I purchased gleim but I had a hard time to read their books, so I switched to Becker older version( I just buy them from Amazon), then used ninja Mcq and audio, plus gleim sim to practice. It save me some money and I have passed two exams. I pretty much ignore gleim except sim, their books are so long and boring, the mcqs are too hard, plus the font are so small, I cannot use gleim to study.

Hey Vanessachy, I see that your scores improved significantly for the two sections. Can you tell me what you did differently for your second attempt and would you say you credit your passing score to Ninja MCQ? I am very nervous for FAR on 22nd and hope I can pass by purchasing Ninja. Thanks, look forward to your response. Good Luck with the remaining two section!
