Hi all,

I was wondering if the 2017 REG Becker book is updated enough to be able to pass the 2018 REG test? I was planning on taking it in July and was hoping that the information being tested won’t be much different than what I will be learning in the book. Good luck everyone!

Hi Mike,

I read that for the CPA exam purposes, they will be testing on the first half of the year the regulations from the current year (meaning 2018) and for the second half of the year (initiating in July) it will be tested the regulations of the follow year (meaning 2019). I have a few doubts because the taxes will be changing a lot in the next year (2019) and I am not sure if all those changes will be tested in this window.

It would be great if someone can confirm this information.
