I am getting discouraged because I am almost done with the first module of Becker and I am getting the multiple choice half the questions right. I feel like I am just a failure and I am about to switch to the auditing section. I thought I understand the textbook. I know sometimes I tend to overthink the problem. I do not understand what I am doing wrong.

    This is my process:
    1) I listen to the lectures
    2) do the homework in the book
    3) do online homework

Could you provide me with any suggestions to fix this issue? How is everyone else doing with the multiple choice? What is your process with learning with Becker?

Don't get discouraged, and you are NOT a failure! I find that it is normal to be receiving low scores on MCQs after doing a lecture or study unit. I know I would receive low scores when first starting out on MCQs, and that's okay. I'm sure others can attest to scoring low on MCQs as well, so you are definitely not alone. The most important thing here, is that you are learning from those MCQs. Take notes on any MCQs that you either guessed on or got incorrect. You want to understand why that one answer is right, and why the other 3 are wrong.

I know it is easier said than done, but don't focus on your scores for those MCQs. They are used as a learning tool to help you understand the material and concepts better. The more you do them, the better you will get. Just keep chipping away at those questions, and taking notes as necessary. You got this, and you can do this!

    BEC - 82
    FAR - 76
    REG - 79
What a journey! It took me 12 attempts, do not give up, keep going! Praise God!
