I’m using Becker for FAR. Is it really worth it to go through the Homework reading and Supplemental questions? Any suggestions/opinions?

Most definitely! I was so frustrated at first, but the more questions and supplemental ?s I did the more comfortable I got. Passed FAR the first time with an 80! I did this for all of the exams and I passed all 4 on my first try! You can never do enough practice questions.

I am still working on FAR, so can't comment directly on that one, but for the other three sections that I've passed the Becker homework reading has had questions on the actual exam for most of them.

The best thing you can do is work the MC. For any that you get wrong, read why the wrong answers are wrong and why the right answer is right. And if you guessed on some and get them right, make sure you know why its right.

In terms of the homework reading, you need to read it. Although its not lectured on explicitly, there is a reason its there – because they test you on it!

Work MC and make sure you understand what you're doing. If you do, you'll be fine.

    NY Candidate using Becker: FAR (2/20) - 81, AUD (4/3) - 92, REG (5/3) - 95, BEC (5/29) - 89 DONE!!!

as everyone else said…. focus on the M/C questions and simulations and you'll do fine

    FAR-87; AUD-89; BEC-85; BEC-84
    DONE!

Becker Financial released- Simulation, Oct 2008. did anyone notice an error on the “Interest Expense” tab for the” carrying value of the Bonds”…. Shouldnt it be F2-D3 and not F2+D3. If someone knows what i am talking about please respond, coz i wasted a whole lot of time on this today ….

What makes me wonder is how can there be an error on the software when we pay so much money for it…it could be that i m wrong…

    Thanks in advance for responding.
