Is it a good idea to break up the material in Becker? I just finished the lectures and all through F8 Module 2. The next module starts up on NFP and continues through State and Local Government through the end of the text. My exam is on the 26th of February. Should I take some time making sure I’m comfortable with F1-F8.2 or get through all of the material before starting my review? It just seems like it might be helpful to split the 2 up since they are so different. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I'm studying for Far too, so I can't say one method is better than the other. But I think that's a smart move; I was planning to do the same. Try to master everything, except for Gov and NFP, and do those last.

You already finished every chapter, except for those two?! (Lecture, reading, MCQ, and TBS??) Damn, I'm so far behind you right now. 🙁

    Good Luck!

I took FAR earlier this month. I was cramming for time and only got through the lectures, MC, skills practice, and sims for the first eight sections. All I did for the last two sections was just skim through some of the reading (2 hrs max) for general concepts and some reconciliation concepts for the governmental parts. On the exam, there were no sims related to the governmental but there were about 10 or so MC questions for it, really high level general concepts though. We do have a class that goes through governmental/NFP for a few weeks in our MS program at the school so maybe that helped a tad bit. Overall, you should definitely focus on reviewing the first 8 sections (Becker). Like I said I was one week out from my exam date and didn't even do the mocks yet and still had the last two sections to complete. I said screw the governmental, I'll look into it towards the end if I have time and just went through a detailed review and re-did all of the simulations of the first 8 sections, along with the two mock exams. The night before the exam is when I skimmed through the governmental reading, few hours if at all.

I think I did alright, but won't know till the 6th.

    Good Luck!

@Christopulous-NFP and governmental is historically heavily tested in MCQ, so if you managed to get by without it-more power to you!:)
