I just took Reg for the second time today, pretty positive I failed miserably 🙁 I was not impressed with Becker, I have the 2008 addition, when I took it the first time. I just don’t think they do a great job covering the topics. Tax and Business Law are definitely my weaker subject areas, but I was just wondering if anyone else felt the same and if so, did you use any other study guides/materials?

    Just Reg Left,

I used becker for REG this past window. I left feeling awful!! I thought I would have been lucky to score 40 points on the exam, but I passed with 87! I agree that becker didn't seem to prepare me as well for REG as it had for FAR and AUD (passed those as well this past spring with becker) I think in my second testlet I had about 18 questions to go back and review out ot 24!!!…yes it was awful….words just cannot describe how awful.

So there is hope that you in fact did pass.

I heard other people in this forum thought REG was awful this past window too, but I know quite a few passed despite being "positive" they failed.

I thought I read somewhere about if you do good on the first testlet they give you harder testlets next…so you get more points for each correct question…which is great and fair.

    Good Luck to you!

I used Becker for REG and tested August 24. I thought I had failed for sure and left the exam cursing Olinto and Gearty for not covering the material on my exam. I hadn't had any legal classes in over 20 years, so I was fully relying on Becker for that. Somehow I passed so Becker must have done something for me.

2 year auditor, hate tax. . I thought Becker could have better in REG, but i ended up with an 89 which surprised me. The only thing they did wrong was putting too much emphasis on R5-R7.
