Dave, I have done self-study with Becker for REG, AUD and about to take FAR. I though Becker was worth it for REG and AUD, but, be prepared to spend 2 months+ to go over all the lectures and questions for FAR (13-15 hours per chapter, at least). If you don’t have this much time, go with another provider. Unless you work is paying, why pay the big bucks and skip the lectures like many suggest on this forum?
Becker feels it’s best to cover much more than you will actually need to know, which is fine for a subject like AUD, but for FAR its ridiculous.
I actually picked up an old textbook and was *amazed* at how easily I picked up the NFP concepts. I spent 3 days listening to Becker lectures and attempting MCQs and go nowhere. If you are able to score 70, seems like you are pretty close, so not sure Becker is worth it.
