    Hey Guys, do you guys think 2 weeks out before my exam is enough time to prep for SIMS for REG? I have 5 weeks left before my test but I am trying to finish up chapter 2 in ninja on B-LAW, almost done with chapter 2, what do you guys think?

    The best way to prep for SIMS is to make sure you know and understand the concepts…So I would focus on getting through all of the MCQ and then layer on the SIMS for practice…Ninja SIMS for REG were ok, but to get an idea for what might be on the actual exam, do the AICPA practice test and refer to the blueprints…

    I second that – MCQs should be the meat of your review and prep. I know all section are different, but the less SIMs I did, the higher I scored. I did almost all of Gleim SIMs for FAR, maybe less than half for AUD, and barely did any for BEC and REG (my exams were in that order). I heard how hellish REG SIMs were and started to do one 2 days before and realized how long it was and didn’t want to waste 3 hours on a subtopic rather than MCQ review. However some people swear by them but I find them to be too time consuming. The AICPA practice exam never loaded for me when I tried for REG but everyone swears by it so I’d definitely hit that, good luck

    Yeah I agree. It's like Jeff says you can study all the Sims you want but never get tested on a single topic but you can study as much MCQ and guaranteed to see those topics on the exam. I would spend the rest of my time just doing MCQ and do the practice Sims on the AICPA.

    Thanks guys, that's great too hear, I feel like I am heading in the right direction with all the MCQs I am focusing on this time. I am trying my best to get through all the MCQs within 2 weeks, that leaves me close to 3 weeks to hammer out more MCQs and do some sampling on the SIMS
