How do you deal with wanting to take a nap and to keep going after a long day?

I am sitting at the public library, maybe 2 hours in to my study session watching CPAexcel lecture video and I fall asleep for 20 minutes…..

How can I keep myself from falling asleep? I got plenty of rest, caffeine, etc….

Believe it or not, whenever I feel sleepy, I play either the Becker video or NINJA audio, lean on my couch, then set my timer. Listening people lecture puts me to sleep fast. When my timer goes off, I get up then get back to my studying.

With that, I feel I can do another round of study for 10 hours or longer.

Well some people suffering from insomnia found a cure to their problem. They look forward to go to church, listen to the preachers on the pulpit, and so they can snore really good.

I heard 20-30min nap will increase the work performance.

Some people do it in their car during a lunch break…in the parking lot.

Some people do it at their desk facing down.

    I can't fall asleep at my desk because I drool :P' ‘ ‘ ‘ ‘

What are you eating? If you're eating foods that are high in carbohydrates that raise and crash your blood sugar, you will fall asleep. Stick to high protein foods and low sugar/carb foods. Still get that power nap in though.

    REG - 78
    FAR - 79
    AUD - 76
    BEC - 75

I have been on this journey off and on for over 10 years. I think it's about time that I wrap this up.

    AUD - 10/21/16 (75----07/2010 expired)
    FAR - 10/28/16
    BEC - 11/2016
