Here's the other part you apparently skimmed. I AM old, LOL. One of my children is an adult now, and the other is in High School.
I have no regrets, I get everything I want out of life and then some. But I did treat my kids like people, and we communicate well. They're not my peers or my friends but I do show them respect. They don't make decisions for me but I do allow them to share their opinions with me.
You are certainly entitled to your own opinion, but you are not entitled to call someone else's ridiculous. Not cool.
To be honest, this guy sounds like a ding dong. “I am coming up with the conclusion that I love you?” You don't “come up” with that conclusion. It's a natural force. You shouldn't even have to think about it. When you love, you love with everything you have because you want to, and it's natural. Not because you came up with a conclusion about it.

Well, I'VE come to the conclusion that maybe I haven't given things enough time. Like I said earlier, I've been consumed with studying for the CPA Exam and haven't been able to see him more than 2 or 3 times a week for several months. It's only after I took my last exam in November have we been able to see each other about 5 times a week.
Maybe I should give it until the end of February and re-evaluate? See if communication is better and we grow closer?
I don't want to force him into anything he doesn't want.

She mentioned in an earlier post that she is 39 hence why she wants a baby sooner rather than later.
I am a little skeptical of the financial news to out an end to the baby talk. I think you really do need to give it time. You are just now dating. Enjoy th dating phase and enjoy being with him and your children. Women can have children in their 40s. I am 35 and just now getting married. My fiancé wants to wait a few more years before we have kids. For some reason I am fine with it. If we can have kids when the time comes it will be great. If not there are other options because we both want kids.
When we first started dating he asked me if I wanted children and if I didn't there was no point in us wasting each other's time. Because he had no desire being with someone that didn't want kids. This was 3 months into us dating. I didn't even know if I wanted to be with him long term. We were just seeing where things would take us.
