It’s almost been a year and so far no success. Oh well, I’m planning on retaking REG on January 2, 2014 using the Ninja method with CPAexcel. Thoughts, comments, concerns?

I agree with the comment that you should focus on one part until you pass it. Each time you start on a new section you lose a little bit of what you gained on the last section. It may get boring and monotonous, but I think you'll have a better chance of passing if you hit up on section at a time. Good luck!

Thanks for all of the encouragement. Here is my game plan for REG:

Starting to study this week, planning to take the exam on January 2, 2014.

    1st-3rd week: watch lectures

    4th week: write ninja notes

5th-6th week: MCQ and write flashcards

7th week: write ninja notes again

8th-9th week: MCQ and write flashcards

Also, for the final 5 weekends before the exam, read and listen to ninja notes and audio.

So, all in all that would make 2x writing ninja notes, 5x reading and listening to the ninja notes and audio, and 4 weeks of doing MCQ and flashcards. What do you guys think? Good plan, bad plan?

Definitely stick with one test and get it down solid. I would say start with FAR or REG only because they are the beasts and it's best to get them knocked out prior to your clock starting – just my opinion.

    BEC: (54), (72), 80 (losing credit on 02/02/15 - nervous)
    AUD: 78
    REG: (74), 91
    FAR: (71)

As everyone else has mentioned, focus on one and don't move on until you pass it. It's very counterproductive to faili one, then try another. You forget so much information in between, you practically have to start completely over each time, when instead you could be building on your knowledge base with each attempt. Good luck.

    BEC: (4/2012) 88
    AUD: (5/2012) 91
    REG: (8/2012) 82
    FAR: (1/2013) 78 🙂
