    Hi Guys!!!.

I Need some help and advise from you PEOPLE. I am planning to take up the US-CPA in the near future. There is an added advantage as of now we can take the Exam here in India itself. I have a US-CMA with me which I cleared in 2018 so I can see a lot of Concepts getting repeated in FAR and to BEC and a very little in AUD. I am Working full time.

Can you guys advise me on how to go about it, like how many hours a day and How many hours over the Weekend and how Questions to be Solved?. What would be a Good Mock EXAM score?. Which concepts are really important?.

    APPRECIATE IN ADVANCE!.

@MAT4 We the PEOPLE, of the United States of America, in order to form…oh wait, that is something else..

I used Ninja only to pass the exams on the first attempt. You can sign up for a free trial on this website. Ninja now has a deal with Roger that will save you money if you want both.

Whatever study package you use it will present you with all the material you need to cover the topics on the exam. If you have a good US GAAP/accounting foundation you will need about 8 weeks per section. BEC may be closer to the CMA exam than the other sections.

Refer to the AICPA Blueprint for each section for a guide on exam topics. https://www.aicpa.org/content/dam/aicpa/becomeacpa/cpaexam/examinationcontent/downloadabledocuments/cpa-exam-blueprints-effective-july-2019.pdf

Read the Candidate Bulletin to know what your responsibilities are as a candidate. https://nasba.org/app/uploads/2020/06/Candidate-Bulletin-2020_June2020.pdf

The NASBA site has the information you will need for the US CPA. What state will you work with? Montana is a good one for internationals.

We are all in this together. Good luck!

    AUD - 93
    BEC - 82
    FAR - 76
    REG - 88

If you want things to change you have to do something different.

    FAR 7/25/15 76!
    AUD 10/30/15 93
    BEC 2/27/16 82
    REG 5/23/16 88!
Ninja Book and MCQ and the forum - all the way!!!
and a little thing i like to call, time and effort!

    Thanks for the reply boss…

8 weeks per Section?..that would be close to 2 months .. how many hours would be ideal for day and how many hours to study on the Weekend and what would be a good mock exam score before going to the Main Exam?..

I worked only 40 hours/week so I studied a few hours a night after work plus all day weekends but no Friday nights. With ninja you want to be trending around 75% prior to exam. I always worked to 100% my goal was no retakes and it worked. Learn don’t memorize. You can also search this site for more answers to your questions.

What state will you be under?

    AUD - 93
    BEC - 82
    FAR - 76
    REG - 88
