Very interesting! I'm not so old at 31, with the average age being 29ish. I was so not ready for this at 23 anyway!

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

Thanks for sharing! I found the average age graph to be the most interesting. I thought I was on the older side (I'm 30) but looks like I'm just a tad higher than the average (about 29 yrs old).

    F- 7/13- 84
    R- 10/13- 79
    A- 11/13- 99
    B- 1/14- 86

    Licensed in PA- 3/20/2014

This exam ALMOST defeated me back in 2006-2008, but I came back and WON!

LOL @ StephAV— we were typing that at the same time! Great minds think alike.

I couldn't handle this at 23 years old either– I tried, but unsuccessfully 🙂

@Jlough – So did I, scored in the 50's on BEC, REG and AUD after honestly just attending the review course and not preparing adequately. I skipped out on FAR and decided “I don't want to be a CPA anyway!” Your scores are awesome!!! 99? How do you do that? Rhetorical question… I'm sure you studied really hard to get that!

@stephAV- haha, I was shocked at the 99. Especially since I got a 79 on REG a month earlier! I studied for about 6 weeks for AUD, which is a little longer than most people study for it. The trick for me was to rewrite my notes (thanks Another71 for giving me that idea). I also was an auditor AND an internal auditor, so that helped me.

The other thing was that I really lucked out on one of my simulations. It was asking questions about auditing the specific industry that I've worked in for the last 8 years. I am not joking. But I'm telling ya, rewriting the notes was really what made the HUGE difference for me. I used that technique for BEC too and it helped as well.

    Thanks for the link…very interesting.

I am not a statistics person, I am just curious why they compare New Candidates vs Candidates Passing 4th Section on the last page…If the number of the first time candidate in the certain point in time in the past and compare how many survived to take the 4th section, then I understand.

If this is a random comparison of first timer vs 4th timer, then I don't know why they are compared side-by-side.

Oh well, that's why I am not a Eco major. haha
