Taxing the exam July 8th. Is this course info up to date?

    For example, these questions about mileage rates. Will the exam use the 2017 mileage rate or the 2016 mileage rate.

    Same goes for every other tax law.

    I wouldn't spend time worrying about memorizing these things. They generally want you to know how to calculate mileage (and will provide the formulas), not remember exactly what it is.

    If tested (which I doubt) they will give you the rate to use. You don't have to memorize any rates, you need to know the concept, thresholds, Sch. A and phase outs. So don't waste your time on that.
