Trump promised more “jobs! Jobs! Jobs!” And lowered corp. tax rate to bring companies back. He is also going to deregulate. Is the Big 4 going to have more openings?

Considering that unemployment was already at functional zero well before he took office, I'd say it's all posturing and non-sense.

I srsly think the Big 4 will be on their knees when Trump's econ. Policies kick in. We're going To see the top 100 accting firms fighting for the top spots and new ones rising through the ranks. It'll be great to see big 4 losers beg for our employment.

Yes – I'm sure that deregulation is going to be great for people whose purpose is reducing financial risk. You know that the good parts of the pass through changes are specifically excluded for service corps, right?

Deregulation is also often not good long term and can lead to bubbles…beyond that adding money in a full employment economy is likely to lead to inflation.

“know that the good parts of the pass through changes are specifically excluded for service corps, right?” What does that mean? And thats not true. Bubbles happen because of government interference. Same for inflation.

    Aaron and Skynet: +1

As an older one greatly benefiting from current suicidal government policy, the lesson learned from the 2003-2004 suicidal policy was to jump ship within 4 years. While Yellen was responsible for a reckless dose of adrenaline to the heart pre Trump, the last two Congressional chest taps of methamphetamine have those of us managing financial firms- financial funds more than a little concerned. That much drug should take it high as a kite until the heart explodes.
–Enjoy the ride for a few years. Have a good parachute. You will probably need it. 2008-2009 may look like minor league practice. Goal is to be retired by 202. We're still debating whether to be out of the country by then, though US govt now greatly limits our ability to move assets. Currency hedges will most likely be the best thing we can do.

    -Yes it's Ne'O.
