I haven't taken any exams yet, but have been told several times from several sources that the SIMS are not based at all on your MCQ performance 🙂

SIM difficulty doesn't depend on how you do in MCQ.

There is no correlation with the MCQ but it's personally hard to believe since in my 4 FAR attempts I've felt that sims were harder or easier based on the difficulty of the mcqs. It's to the point where my score results will be strong on mcq and weak on sims or vice versa. I guess it could be a complete coincidence but it's made me wonder.
