Does anyone know when the loophole will start working for Wisconsin? I’m waiting on my Audit Score which its sounds like is out but not sure when the loophole would begin working.

On the general forum, I also read NASBA is having their Holiday party today. I still think scores will be released since I've seen them come out on Saturday and Sundays. Good luck to everyone and if you have the opportunity please post if the loophole worked for you.

@07STI What other exams do you have left? And what materials are you using? I'm using Becker and I thought it prepared me well for Auditing. When I went into the exam, I was scoring between 85-90 that's why I'm so disappointed. I know I spent too much time on the first written sim and didn't leave enough time for the second. I'm wondering if that is where I went wrong. If the loophole is correct, I hope I atleast get a 74 to try and make me feel a little better.

I was scoring 80s and 90s with Becker review materials also. I'm not sure what went on during the test to produce a failing score but I'm right there with you.

@ CPAGreen – I was just doing MC questions from Gleim. For all of my exams, I've basically just done 300 or so multiple choice questions before each exam. I passed AUD with an 89 in '08, then had a 74 and 73 this year. Obviously I don't know how I did this time, but I'm going to order new materials and really study for it in April so I don't lose credit for BEC (lose credit 4/30/11).

Edit – AUD is my last section. I lost credit for AUD because I got a 74 on REG last January. Passed REG this summer, but then failed AUD twice…3 times now I guess.

6:30 AM ON Sat. No score yet. I just find it impossible that we would have to wait until Jan. I have to believe they would be out on Wed by the worst case. Oh well… 🙁

It's now Sunday night…still no scores…and the Packers lost.

I just called NASBA to see if they have my score and they gave me the standard “Our policy has changed so that we cannot tell you if we have your score”. I asked when Wisconsin would receive scores and they said “Wisconsin does not release scores until they have received all scores for the window.” I said that the window was closed last week, so Wisconsin should have all the scores, right? They said no, just because the window is closed, doesn't mean that Wisconsin has received all the scores. Really? That means the loophole might not be working for me. Wisconsin “should” have all scores by the end of the month. I cannot take this stress any longer. Please Santa, all I want for Christmas is a passing BEC score.

@WisconsinCPA2be Thanks for the update. Nothing has changed for me with the Oasis and loophole. I'm still trying to have a little bit of hope that I passed Auditing even though I can re-register. 🙁

I kind of just skimmed this but I also took audit and can reregister and so can my friend. Is there anyone that has taken Audit and can't reregister? maybe that means it isn't working. I was getting 85-95 on my practice tests and recongnized most of the questions so I am surprised that the “loophole” is saying I didn't pass.

I wouldn't place too much faith in the loophole this time around, I've read quite a few people on the main score release forum that weren't able to reregister but passed and vice a versa….

People say that its not working every window but its been pretty accurate for all wisconsin candidates that I've read posts from, i've never heard of a wisconsin candidate passing after it let them reregister. The only time it is misleading is when nasba doesn't have your score, but at this point in the 2nd wave all scores seem to have been released, and even that would only affect people that think they have passed but really just haven't seen their score come in.

@sleeplessinWI I agree with you. I'm waiting on Auditing and I can also re-register on the OH and WI websites. I felt well prepared and was also getting 80-90 on all the tests. I think one person posted that Auditing was greyed out otherwise everyone else has indicated they can re-register for this section.

When does anybody think we will get scores? it has been my experience that they come out 2 weeks after the rest of the country gets them. that puts it next week. I hope its sooner but I expect next tuesday night.

I have to say that it's nice to know that there doesn't appear to be anyone from Wisconsin who has taken audit and been unable to re-register for it. I felt pretty good about the exam as well, but like I said before, that hasn't generally meant anything. I'm still not going to get my hopes up that it's wrong…It would make for one hell of a Chrismtas or New Year gift if I found out I passed.
