Unfortunately, I ran into my first fail this time… I’m not familiar with the score report or when we receive it. Should they have sent it already? Mail or email? Just curious, thanks. I’m in NJ BTW.

I hear ya. I got 3 weaker, 2 comparable and 1 stonger for MCQ with a stronger on SIMS and got a 74.AUD. Go figure.

Giving this thread a bump. I know I've read some post about people receiving their Score Report already. Is it normal that it's been a week since score leased that I have not received my Score Report yet? Planning to retake in a couple weeks and I want to know where I was weaker in.

Most of my score releases have been on Friday and I usually have my score report the following Monday but I also have yet to receive my score report for last week's release.

Same.. Still waiting for my score report. We do get a score report even for a passing score right?

You get a score report when you pass but most states don't give you details on how you performed like you get when you fail.

@2B.CPA – usually I've gotten mine with a few days of the advisory score, but have not received a score report this time. I see my pass in CPA Central with the expiration date though….

@lsutigers03 congrats on passing all of your exams. Do you mind sharing your BEC exam experiences? I couldn't help but to notice that you took BEC many times. You were one point away on your first attempt, any insights on why attempts after were worst? I.E., did you take them back to back, did you feel that you took the exam not “fully” prepared? Or simply just tough luck?

I felt that I did enough to pass BEC, but I too was just shy of a passing score. With this being my only exam left, I can solely focus on this material. I don't think I did enough MCQ the last time around so I'm planning to do a through-all review of my notes this week and two weeks of MCQ practice. Hopefully this will be enough to get over BEC.

Currently using Becker, purchased Ninja Notes last week and considering Ninja MCQ.

I ended up calling NASBA today and they told me to email my state coordinator about the missing score report.

Provide the ID# and exam in your email.

@The Ex Lurker – For a few of my BEC exams I got swamped with work and couldn't devote enough time to studying. My main study material was Becker but after looking at the MCQ so much I started memorizing the answers which was doing me no good. I ordered the Ninja MCQ for my last try and those really helped me get over the hump and pass. BEC and AUD were difficult for me because I graduated in 2005 and I didn't seriously start studying for the exam until 2013 so I didn't remember anything from school and I didn't use either in my professional career. Also I found that BEC more than any other exam had a lot of questions that seemed foreign and way different that what I studied.

Quick update for anyone in my shoes.

I got a response from NASBA and they emailed to say that they resent the score report. It still did not materialize. I'm not sure what the issue is – since it's not getting caught by my spam filter. And, obviously, I'm getting emails from NASBA, since I'm talking to them using the email address that they're sending the report to!

So you might try changing your email address in your NASBA profile before emailing to get a second copy. Maybe you'll have better luck than I did!

Update to the update: They emailed me to say it would take 24-48 hours to get the email. I'm from the Generation of Instant Gratification, so it doesn't compute for me that emails take more than 5 minutes to arrive. 😉

I emailed my state coordinator but didn't receive a response. I don't know if that helped but I just got my last score report.

I just got my score report also. It didn't say anything about how I did on different parts though. It just said I passed.

@2B.CPA – Most states only give you the performance detail when you fail. It's a little annoying because with my passes I was curious if I performed like I though I did but at the end of the day it doesn't matter how you pass.

Just received my scores too. Sucks that I have 2 weak, 2 comp and 2 stronger for MCQ and comp for WC but I wasn't on the bubble, if indeed, the bubble exists at all. I would have felt better if I was on the “bubble” then receive my failed score later or if my WC was stronger. So frustrating…

Oh well, that felt good to get off my chest. Now I can study with a clearer mind. I'll get my revenge.
