Finally halfway there!! Congrats to all who have passed and to those who came close, do not give up. This was my third time around with REG, developed a fever halfway through the exam and really thought the universe was giving me a sign that this wasn’t for me. Received my score one year from when I passed my first exam. Game on to get the last two out of the way!

@CPAHOPE try not to beat yourself up (which I know is sometimes easier said than done). I’ve met some people that I consider truly knowledgeable in the accounting/auditing world and just overall versed in many areas in life that I’ve considered them personal and professional mentors… and now life long friends. The majority of them told me that they failed at least one (and some more than one) of their CPA exams.

I used to think the CPA exam was a test of “intelligence”, but I’m starting to see that “intelligence” is really a bad gauge. Instead I see it as more of an endurance test. I think everyone in the forum has what it takes to pass because we wouldn’t have made it this far if the CPA wasn’t meant for us. Keep going (and even take a 1-2 week break to mentally regroup, if needed) because I’ve seen so many success stories in this forum that have spanned well over 2 years, and they all have one common theme… they never gave up! You’ve got this!

@CPAHOPE look how much your scores improved…sure each retake is a new exam but you are doing something right in your studying. Maybe focus on one at a time going with FAR first.

I actually did take FAR first. Im a cheap guy so this is definitely a nightmare for me. More money thrown at AICPA 🤢🤢🤢😱😱😱 im almost broke now

@ymak216 what does your score report say? Did you notice any MCQ or SIMs were harder than you expected? you need to find your weak areas and build them up. Maybe this exam happened to test more of those areas hence the 10 point drop.

@cpahope, u must look at the bright side, you passed two n that’s the only thing that matters right now, so yah u keep falling off but u always gotta get back up, you did it 2 time already so what’s 2 more times?!! Don’t let this ruin ur holidays, there r far more important things in life than than a credit/no credit on few exams, enjoy n appreciate those things n that will help u stay motivated!! We r all sure u will do a lot better next time… at least 9 points more better!!
