    I gave REG last week.

I just want to emphasize on what Jeff always suggests

” Do not practice sims ” It is just a waste of time. Try to understand the MCQs. Just don’t solve it, try to understand the logic behind it, then what ever comes in the sim should be familiar to you. Practicing sim is simply a waste of time. Just my two cents…

I don't think you should spend a lot of time on SIMs, but I do recommend doing some. They don't help with the actual SIMs, but I think they do help understanding the concepts and getting into the details. I remember having a hard time with the business combination MCQ's in FAR and it was the SIMs that helped me understand it better because it went into more detail.

Becker, Wiley Test Bank, and Ninja 10 Point Combo!

    FAR: 89
    REG: 87
    AUD: 92
    BEC: 75
    Ethics: 90

I would go with saying doing as many Mcq's as possible but do some SIM's just to get a feel of what it is like to do a SIM in that subject.

For REG the first time I barely did any SIM's and failed. Second attempt I did practice the SIM's and it actually helped me with my MCq's. Fingers crossed I have passed this time.

I will have to disagree with the OP. I practice sims with the Wiley test bank software. I don't go over the top (spending dozens of hours), but I work my way through slowly and methodically.

When I took FAR, I felt very comfortable with the sims. 2 of the sims were almost identical to that in the Wiley software.

As I work my way through the REG sims, I feel like it brings things together. While working through the sims I was able to pick up some additional little exceptions, etc. That were very useful.
