Finally got my FAR score! I passed with an 80!!! Whoo hoo, finally done, finally finally FINALLY!!! I can't believe it! I started crying! Thanks to you all for this thread, it's really helped get me through this agony wih the CA score release. Thank God my score was worth it!! Best of luck to you all in the future!
Got my last score FAR in CA and yes passed with 88 … I passed all four in 1 shot within 4 four months in one testing window …. Roger is the best !! I remember the first thing he ever said when i first took his course ” this is not an IQ test but it is a test of discipline” … my best xmas gift ever !!!! Good luck everyone 🙂
Good Morning Everyone!!! Now that CA has posted my Auditscore and I passed I am trying to figure out which test to take next FAR or REG? Any suggestions?
@pcarey – I would take FAR first if you aren't comfortable with IFRS. I've read that it will be gradually phased in the exam. That means the early tests won't have so much of an IFRS emphasis. My two cents.
HOOORAY for the early Christmas present from the CBA and NASBA!!! 75 on FAR! I guess I didn't study a second too long!
The past week has been a rollercoaster and I couldn't have gotten through it without this thread. So thank you all for being wonderful!! I'm taking REG on January 8th and BEC at the end of February. I'll see you kids in the chat room when Wave 1 scores start buzzing.
Congrats to those who passed and condolences to those who didn't. Just keep your head high and don't give up because hard work, dedication and perserverance pay off!!!
I studied about 2 hours a day for 5 months for FAR and got an 81. 2 1/2 of those month were spent struggling with the material though. With Roger CPA I did about 2.5-3 hours on average a day for 2 1/2 months and passed. It's about quality study time.
REG - 67, 76 (Q4 2009) - Used CPAExcel first time, Used CPAExcel + CPAReviewForFree
BEC - 83 (Q1 2010) - CPAExcel + CPAReviewForFree

@ Iwillpasswithalife & Iwant2bacpa…CONGRATULATIONS!!! I am using Roger too. I definately agree that it is about the quality and understanding of the information.
I used Roger's course, also. I only studied his materials. I also bought his cram courses when I initially ordered, but ended up not using them. I tried watching his lectures, but realized that my time was best spent developing my own understanding of the concepts and rules using his books and doing questions. I would recommend Roger's course to anyone who wants to pass all 4 parts as quickly as possible.
