I doubt I will get a response, but I sent the email below to the CA Board (examinfo@cba.ca.gov). Enjoy.
Hello,
I’m just wondering if you are doing anything to get exam scores out to CPA candidates who are still waiting for them? I know to you people, it is just another day in the office collecting your paychecks and waiting for your pensions, but to some of us, it makes a big difference.
I won’t waste time trying to call your office because from what I have read in the chat rooms, everyone is told something different. Has it ever occurred to you to post an explanation of what is going on so you don’t have to respond individually to emails and phone calls.
If there is such a problem with getting the data posted to user accounts, why not just post a listing of scores by application number or exam section. Confidentiality is maintained as it is impossible to track a score back to an individual using these codes. It won’t be official, but at least we will know if we need to submit a new application and what we need to study for.
The attitude towards the CBA in general is slipping. What don’t you prove us all wrong and get something out. I would prefer to see a score, but would settle for an accurate, timely and truthful explanation.
