@Hoss – Those are some pretty awesome scores! Has anyone been mentioning the sells award to you? A few people have to me and I'm wondering if you know whether we might be in contention.
Does anyone else know anyone who has received it?
Good luck to everyone still waiting! I'll be hoping for early holiday presents for all of you!
@AmICPAYet Thanks! I'm actually in San Diego but I probably wouldnt' be much help. I just studied with Becker a whole bunch. I hope you pass!
@AICPA – Monopoly — congrats on your scores. No one has mentioned the Sells award to me, and based on what I've seen online, I believe it is highly unlikely that I will be in contention. Definitely not holding my breath! Your scores are a bit better than mine so good luck.
CPAwannaB- I am also waiting for BEC 434 in Wisconsin. Wisconsin doesn't release any scores until all scores have been released and the Wisconsin Coordinator actually said that we won't get scores in Wisconsin until January. Although, I would hope that is wrong since it seems ridiculous that we would have to wait until January when the rest of the nation has scores.
Paper Exam May 2002; AUD 62, LPR, 63, FAR 49, ARE 70
Paper Exam Nov 2003; AUD 72, LPR, 72, FAR 67, ARE 71
CBT 2010; AUD 83 FAR 76 BEC 78 REG 73,(2/28/11 NTS # 446) 75 and DONE!
@SecondTime – Thanks for the congrats! Yeah, it was a miserable wait to listen to everyone's Wave 1 scores come out and to not have any idea when it was coming. I thought I did pretty well, but you're definitely right, you start to mentally decrease your score about 1.5 points every hour that you don't get your score. I've mentally adjusted my FAR score already down into the 50-range. Hopefully that will come through soon for both of us. How did you think it went?
Thank you! I went to another State and saw that they changed my birthday. This happened sometime on Friday, but I also purchased the last part of the exam that day. NASBA may have changed it. It's a weird birthday too. Last day of a decade.
B - 58, 78 (Expired), 76
A - 57, 75
R - 37, 49, 65, 71, 61, 87
F - 61, 71, 77
congrats usiguy!!! All the wait was worth it. Now enjoy your 3rd victory!!. I'm taking REG (my last part on February 26, almost the same as you. Cant wait til both of us celebrate in late march : D
@usiguy I seriously have nightmares when I think about REG. I'm from Puerto Rico and never took a federal taxation class in my life, as they were elective courses in my college, that I skipped. As you can imagine I'm really scared of this section of the CPA exam. For that reason I got Becker 2011 self-study (with flashcards included), the wiley 2001 REG book and will receive Wiley cram 2010 (thank you Jeff). This will be my first time studying anything besides Becker, but I admit my lack of knowledge of the material and will study 3 times harder than my other exams (If that's even possible). I hope this mix of study sources will help pass my last section and get my life back.
