How do you get your detailed score report (the one that shows Weaker, Comparable and Stronger)? I'm in Virginia which is a NASBA state if that makes any difference. Thanks!

CPAHopefulTX- did you try using unknown for mothers maiden name (I ALWAYS have to do that). If so, I am not sure why it is taking so long. I usually get my payment notice prior to the email from TSBPA (usually a few hours) saying it was approved. Well if you dont have it by Monday, I would say call. Maybe they are just overloaded right now. The good news is, I looked for a friend and prometric has very few days that are full in my area so I am sure you will still get a good seat. Especially because you should get your NTS before we even find out our scores.

Julz- Oh man that is a slap in the face! Well I will agree with desertfox that it was referring to your first attempt. Good luck.

    FAR- 75
    REG- 82

yaa I tried the unknown and everything. I'll give them until Monday and then call. Usually they're really quick getting those out. Does anyone know the score release timeline for Q1 2012? It might affect when I schedule FAR. Taking the test a day earlier or before 12 makes a big difference apparently!

CPAhopeful – I've had to wait several days for my payment coupon. I would wait until next week before you call.

Mandy – I wish I would have known that I could have taken the ethics course early! They still send you a 25 question test you have to take, so I will finish that tonight, and then the ethics CPE this weekend.

    BEC 52, 61, 74, 77
    AUD 80
    REG 75

Megan- yeah i just figured i would get it taken care of so it was faster to get the license once I passed. FYI- I have the one called “Ethics: An overview for texas cpas” and it is super easy. Took no time to knock out.

@apbandj-You receive the detailed report only if you fail the exam…so hopefully you'll never have to see it:)!

Thanks CPA-VT! I didn't realize you only got one if you didn't pass, so yes – hopefully I'll never have to see one of those. Although I'm not getting my hopes up – I took FAR on Monday and don't think I did so well. In regards to your user name, are you from Vermont or are you a Hokie?

I took BEC on 11/27, so am expecting my score around 12/7. I know BEC has the tendency to release late bc of the written comms, but does anyone know, if I do not receive my scores on 12/7 is that a sign that I am borderline w/ my score? I heard that if you don't receive your score on the date that it could be bc you have a borderline score, and they send the written portion thru further review. Is this true??

Online NASBA Account – Do it Now!

Hey everyone – I recently took REG, and expecting a terrible score (didn't take enough time to study – passed AUD in between), I got my score and screamed with excitement (the first number started with a “7” – I was expecting a score in the 50s), but a second later, I realized that the second number was a “1” and not a “5” – oh well. Then I said *other* things…

So I wanted to get online and get going on my reschedule. THIS time I had to create that pesky online account and apply for the NTS the New way. It was as though I was applying “for the very first time…” (sorry Madonna), and there were all those questions about how many credits I had in business, accounting, GPA for accounting and nonaccounting classes, etc. Geesh! I told them all that stuff already, and I had “Imported” my original application! Even though I “imported” my old information, *those* details didn't import. All of my supporting paperwork was packed in a box somewhere, and I didn't want to go find it if I didn't have to. So I called 1-866-MYNASBA about it. They said to give my best guesses, and because I was a reexamination candidate, 100% accuracy wasn't absolutely required (I reminded her that she is dealing with a bunch of accounting people…). Disclaimer: Make sure that YOUR state feels the same way, otherwise, you might want to start looking through your boxes…

Then after ALL of that, the system wouldn't let me request another NTS because my lovely 71 hadn't gone into their database, so as far as the software was concerned, I still hadn't *failed* (ouch) the exam, and was therefore not eligible to request an NTS. Another call to 1-866-MYNASBA. They said it takes 48 hours for their databases to update, after which time I could apply for the NTS. More waiting…

With my new profile, login, and Enter Key firmly in hand (haven't we all become good at this while waiting for scores?!), I (sort of) waited. Good news! I determined that at least *this* time, it was more like 24 hours, rather than 48.

I received my NTS two days later. THAT'S an improvement!!!! I now have my new appointment at Prometric, and will be working toward that date.

So save yourself some of the post-test-failing-and-rescheduling trauma, and make sure you've gotten your ducks in a row NOW. Create your new login and profile now (even if you expect to pass and be done).

Best of luck to all of you (us)!!!

Can anyone provide some intel on how IL has been about releasing scores relative to the expected dates? I'm seeing that the scores will be released on the 7th, but the ILBOA site says after Dec. 8th. How has it been so far this window?

Just re-scheduled FAR for Feb. 28th. I really hope I receive a passing score for REG this week so I don't have to worry about cramming that retake in as well.

I really hope I get a passing score for REG too. I've already been studying for AUD and I want to get this over with already.

Wednesday/Thursday can't come soon enough! 75+ on REG means a #6 from Wendy's for me (I've been abstaining from her for 15 months)!

Licensed as of July 17, 2012!

    BEC [68, 76]
    AUD [75, 89]
    FAR [56, 82]
    REG [55, 74, 65, 91]
