December 7-8 wont come soon enough. With the first test I took, I only had to wait a little over 3 weeks since I took it at the end. Now it's just a two week wait, but I'm more anxious about it. I know I'm spoiled.

David- Sorry, just realized you sent me that message! Was that supposed to be a joke to make me wake up at 4:30 this morning? Cruel!

FYI, scores are being released the 7th and TX will get them the 9th, therefore I am calling TSBPA on the 8th to ask if they have my score (they will tell us if they have it, just not what it is) so I dont waste my time waking up early for nothing. I am always in a second release and knowing my luck, I will be like Yellowjacket and have to wait another month because I am that one odd ball out that they did not release (no offense yellowjacket)

It's not cruel. I am just trying to help you understand that we are dealing with most incompetent group. We already should know about it. I am surprised that they even know how to answer the phone, based on the way they are handling score releases.

Are you sure they will be released December 7 if you took it on 11/30? The AICPA website says day 46-close of window is dec 7, but that is for when the AICPA receives the score. It says if they receive it after close of the window it is TBA. I don't know how fast they get the scores, but I feel like they may not have gotten my score the same day i took the test.

@Hurley…the score are sent to the AICPA the same day, unless it a weekend, then it's the next business day. The dates received after the close of the window are for tests taken during the blackout month. These are tests that were cancelled due to emergencies such as a test center shutting down due to inclement weather or power failure.

You should still expect your score to be released to NASBA on the 7th and then however long it takes your state to post. I know in CA most of us will be waiting until the 9th. 😐

Hey TX candidates, does anyone know how long we have to wait after the Board approves us to sit for a section for NASBA to send the payment coupon? I sent in the application to re-sit for the FAR section on the 28th and the Board approved me to sit on the 29th but I haven't received anything from NASBA so that I can pay my fee and schedule my exam. Any thoughts?

CPAHopefulTX- TRY THIS- Go to Nasba.org, click CPA Exam, choose Texas, and click “pay your examination fee now”. I am sure you will be able to do it. I have done that before and it worked without yet receiving my payment coupon by email.

Hey Guys! So I have to share this story while we all wait for scores. I took FAR again on Nov 30th. The day after my exam while eating lunch with co-workers I opened my fortune cookie from lunch that read: “Failure is an opportunity in disguise.” I repeat this was the day after my exam, how am I supposed to take that? No since in letting silly superstitions get in the way of a positive exam attitude right.

@Julz….OUCH!!! Hopefully, it's just trying to make you feel better for not passing it the first time and that your “opportunity” was to score in the high 80's the second time. 🙂
