Hey All – Took FAR in Virginia on 11/29 and am still waiting for my score. Anybody else still waiting on FAR?

I do not think I did that bad… except for WC on BEC…

Say I did not do WC at all (i did do 1.5 our of 3), which would automatically give me a 85, which would be my MAX score

And in order to get the max points, I can ONLY get 3 – 4 wrong in each section.

But I did half of my WC, say I get 4 out of 15 allowed (conservative speaking)… so my max is 89. and i still have 14 points to spare on each MCQ testlet

So I'm thinking, for those that did well on WC, you only need 18 questions for each MCQ testlet. Which is not bad at all.

In conclusion, I do not know where I am going with this… I just hope I did not screw up on the MCQs… which I don't think it was that bad..

I started a new job on Monday so, believe it or not, I forgot about score release! Looked today and I passed BEC!! Half way there!

I have not seen my BEC score yet for Idaho (NTS 460) so I'm not sure what is the reasoning is?? The email I got from NASBA is that my test has yet to be scored…could very well be that I was given the runaround and I'm in the second wave with a borderline score (I thought I nailed the MCQs and did really well on one WC and ran low on time for the other two WCs). I just think they need to be honest and let us know what the timing is for the rest of us waiting for our BEC scores…

@laugeorge: what are your thoughts/experience? I don't think I've seen too many BEC scores on here and I am trying to figure out if NASBA flat out tries to pacify us with bs and buy some time…if I failed I am hoping for a 73 or 74 so that it is less traumatic 🙂

I sat for BEC on November 19th. I seriously walked out of there thinking I failed miserably, goes to show how dumb this part of the exam is. Personal opinion of course.
