I strongly recommend you spend 80% or so of your time on Tax…your study materials will probably have just as much law as tax…this can distract you and cause you to waste time trying to learn all the law…just be sure not to lose sight of the fact that tax is the by far the biggest part of REG…all the sims (40% of your score) and probably 85% of MC (60% of your score)…..
and do not waste your time memorizing the tax values that change often…if it is not a tried and true balance, ignore it, focus on the rules, and the exam will give you the balance you need….
Frist time tester here! Can someone help me out? I'm in Kansas…which is a 24 hours state. I took FAR 464 on 11/18. Have all the scores been released now and we are just waiting on our states or are we still waiting for the scores to be released?
Thank you everyone! Congrats to all who have passed!
FAR - 63->68->76
BEC - 64->68->74->79 (kiss my ass BEC)
REG - 65->75 (credit expired 11/30 with the 74 on BEC)->64 (ouch) -> 72 (ouch) -> 11/21/11
AUD - 68->73->85
Thanks guys! I keep re-checking to make sure it is real! I used Becker and Becker Final Review. I make notecards for myself that basically involve copying the entire book. I probably had at least 500 for Audit. In addition to the notecards, I just did billions of MCQs, as suggested by all on this site. I must say that it is so nice to be able to post here. I know pass or fail that I have people who are so supportive!
Just for others waiting for their score. I felt good about the multiple choice, but VERY uneasy about the SIMs coming out of the exam. So, don't doubt yourself until you see that score! Best of luck to all of you! Now on to FAR…here we go again!
