    To DrRyan

    I was planning on using the Ohio loophole – I'm waiting on my final score and that is supposed to be when it works. But they have changed the registration process and I didn't get the feeling that it was going to work. You have to register with your default jurisdiction and once you put in your home state, when you go to “register” in Ohio it assumes you want to register in your home state. I was really afraid I'd screw something up by changing this in my account info. If you try it, please let us know if you had success!

    BEC - 85
    FAR - 87
    AUD - 93
    REG - 89 (11/21/11) Done!

    @keeptrying,

    You are so sweet. I thought the air was let out of my tires when I failed REG, boy was I wrong, this is, well so crappy. I haven't gotten my score report on Audit, but I already know that the sims is the thing that killed me. It was in REG. Not sure how I can study to get over the sims. Not sure how I can get past this at all. I feel like it just isn't going to happen. I can't even think about talking to my hubby about the fails. And then there are the Christmas parties I have to go to. One of the guys' wives that my hubby works with started on her cpa exam in January 2010 and finished. Passed 3 exams first try and REG 2x. I just can't help but feel like an idiot. I know I will see her, and quite frankly everybody at his company knows that I am taking the exams, so have to find a way to deal with that. Maybe I will just be half a CPA? OIY! Want to crawl out of my skin. But I will figure it out. Just not now. Thanks for your support.

    @David1985

    I am going to try and kick some ass, not feeling it right now, though. šŸ™

    If you are around in January then study buddies would be great! GL on your scores coming up though!

    tyson900 – This is the website for Missouri (the state I'm in). Do you live in a NASBA state? If so, type in this URL and replace your state with Missouri.

    ok, let's get it going for 2012. I already scheduled REG for 1/14, now with Audit, I need to figure out if I need to move things a bit. OIY!! Still crying all over my laptop! Need to go eat the crappy food now! I will look for you on the Audit and REG thread and we can toss around gameplans, etc. Take care šŸ™‚

    @yankee– do you IM at all? I wouldn't mind adding you to my IM to hold me accountable as well as bounce questions back and forth….the more the merrier! Also if they ask you anything about your exam look them in the eye and say “I'm sorry the AICPA doesn't allow me to talk about my testing experience.” HA HA HA HA…and tell them the AICPA is currently in the process of building additions to their offices at the AICPA headquarters named after “keeptrying”, “kricket” and “yankee”….

    REG-80, 77, 77
    BEC-67, 68, 71, 67, 71, 74, 71, 74, 72, 77
    FAR- 72, 65,67, 53, 75 (truth be known the 53 was with 4 hours of studying)
    AUD-58, 62, 72, 74, 74, 75
    took 5 years but I'm DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Yankee you are not an idiot. This test is pretty much the luck of the draw. I've had easy sims and some killer sims. I've been down this road more times than I care to count but YOU CAN DO THIS and YOU WILL DO THIS. You didn't give up everything that you have already sacrificed for nothing. Did you know that 4 of every 5 freshman major in Accounting and only 1 in 10 will get it done. Idiots don't do that. Smart, dedicated and decent people get that done!
