I take AUD tomorrow (the 10th) and I’m already dreading the wait. I took my last test (BEC) on the first day of the window and had to wait six weeks, so I’m over with the waiting already!

Got an 87 on audit. I ended up switching from Wiley to Roger for this section and boy did it pay off!

I am still in total shock that I passed FAR with an 83! I only did half of the SIMS as I ran out of time. I was so sure I failed.

I just want to say to everyone that is thinking about quitting that it can be done! Only quit if you think you can be happy NOT being a CPA. I understand how hard it can be. I am a single mom with 5 kids. My youngest are 3 year old twins. They also don't understand why I have to study and they always want to do “homework like mommy.” I also work full time of course. Its hard but it can be done! Good luck and wish you guys the best in the decision you make!

    @GSD512 thanks for the info!

I just checked and……I passed FAR with an 87! Je suis in shock because I could have sworn on exam day that I failed.

My first CPA exam, now on to REG!

Congrats to all those that passed, especially those that completed all 4, and to those that didn't pass…”in every adversity lies the seed of an equal or greater benefit.”

    Merry Christmas folks!

@dislcpa – I used Yaeger only. Maybe you should try that and use Ninja as extra study. Everyone learns different and maybe its time for a change. Best of luck to you.

@studynowcpa I was looking for something to try because I don't think ninja is working for me. I used Wiley test Bank on my BEC retake and scored a 71 so I believe that I need something else. What did you find that yaeger did that helped you pass?

DISLCPA, are you reading the chapters and taking notes as well to the MC questions?

@needsa75. I did that for BEC and found that the book was a waste of time so with audit I just used the audio and then got plus later with like a week left. But I took notes with the audio, videos, and McQ. Then I rewrote them couple of times.

YOU GUYS. I PASSED REG WITH AN 84.

That was the weirdest CPA section I've ever taken. So many random/obscure questions. I wouldn't have been surprised if I'd gotten another 68 just like I did last time I took it.

I only have to retake BEC now – got a 71 first time around – so I'm going to jump right on it, retake in mid January, and be done before my birthday. Still riding the high of this pass that I honestly didn't expect.

My husband said this morning “You didn't have to tell me that you passed. I could see it all over your face.” LOVE THAT MAN.

    I passed AUD with 89.
I was almost crying on the exam because of MCQ, they were getting harder and harder. Although SIMS were much easier than on FAR.
It was my second exam and my second pass on the first try. I have bachelor degree from Europe and didn't take accounting or auditing here. So if I can pass on the first try, you can too. English is not my first language and all the material was new to me.
    Goood luck everyone!

@DISLCPA – You're not studying enough, and I can tell you're not in it for the long haul. You need 4 hours a day on weekdays and 8 hours a day on weekends. Why are you only doing 4 hours on weekends? As you know at this point, CPA isn't really about intelligence, rather how dedicated you are. You need to put some serious effort into this next time, don't give up yet. If you find that 36hrs a week studying for 5 weeks still leads you to a fail (don't do more than 5 weeks, you will forget things), then you can consider it. But as of now, I don't see that you have really tried yet.
