@ mckelly i am in your shoes totally, except in Louisiana. I cannot find ANYONE else here without a FAR score. Unfortunately, I'm starting to believe it's because my score was held for some sort of review because I'm borderline. Who knows. I can't seem to get any answers.

I agree.I have had several people tell me that I am smart and won't have problems passing the test. Of course, these are people who know nothing about the CPA exam. It makes me feel like they will say “Well maybe she isn't that smart” if I don't pass a section. Oh and when people say things like “you will knock it out of the park” I really just want to punch them in their smiling face. 🙂

It is truly hard for anyone to understand all this until they have actually done it themselves. My husband is supportive, but he doesn't understand either. He doesn't understand the emotion and anxiety and it is frustrating and very hard on our marriage. But we are pushing through in hopes it will be very rewarding.

It drives me nuts when people don't understand what the CPA exam is, my father-in-law keeps asking me if I graduated yet. He thinks I'm still in college 🙂 I explain it everytime but they just don't get it.

just called nasba – they have not released all the FAR scores and will by the end of the month. SERIOUSLY this is horrible.

@nowhammies – i feel that way exactly. i took BEC in the beginning of july so i know that one is borderline since i have not gotten it. i am just praying that i am on the 75 side of borderline. hopefully i am on the upside of FAR too but if i fail both of them with 74 …. i'll probably cry and then start drinking massive quantities of wine.

Haha! A lot of people still think I'm in college too and ask when I'll graduate.

MOM2THREE – Yep, I've started not telling people because they give that answer and so I feel like if I don't pass, I'm dumb.

@ mckelly OMG i'm so glad i found someone in my shoes!!!!!! I can't focus on ANYTHING. I am DYING to get my FAR score and it's horrible because everyone else is so over FAR. They can't have that many more scores to release since you're the only other person I can seem to find in my situation. WHATS GOING ON!!? WHAT ARE THEY DOING WITH OUR SCORES!!? LOSING IT!!

thanks CPA! i have actually passed both BEC and FAR before .. but had to retake because i lost them after failing REG with a 74. that was painful but i REFUSE to give up. passed reg with an 80 this spring so that was a bit encouraging.

this site is great because it is nice to hear from people that understand and are going through the same thing!! i hate that this test is giving me such trouble but i will beat it !!!!!! haha no matter how long it takes.

CPATHECPA and Megan- my husband still asks me when I am gonna finish my homework and if I took my exam online. This is not college!! I dont have homework and no exam as big as the CPA exam will allow you to take it online! LOL

    FAR- 75
    REG- 82
BEC- 73, 79!! Its over. Am I dreaming?

My hubby is supportive…but it kills me that he knocked this out by taking each section once. I'm proud of him but I feel like his family and everyone else that knows us thinks he is smarter than me….and I've always prided myself on being the academic one of the two of us. Oh well when I finally conquer this beast it probably won't matter much to me but if one single person ever says anything about him passing it on the first time and me taking 4 years almost 5 I might just knock them out!!!

    REG-80, 77, 77
    BEC-67, 68, 71, 67, 71, 74, 71, 74, 72, 77
FAR- 72, 65,67, 53, 75 (truth be known the 53 was with 4 hours of studying)
    AUD-58, 62, 72, 74, 74, 75
took 5 years but I'm DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
