    @Alpine – I took my last test on 11/14/2011 (Day 45 of testing window) and received my score with the Day 21-45 release. It could be different for your state – I live in CO.

    My experience was for the second window…I know you were asking about the first window. Hopefully you made the cut!

    ‘Day in Testing Window’ refers to the date AICPA receives the test result, not the test date. Wow, nice

    I took my AUD on the 20th day, so I could wait less. Now I am devastated.

    I think CPAMan took his REG like on day 18 and didn't receive his until the 2nd wave if I remember correctly. I think it was because he took it so late in the testing window.

    I am wondering how long it take for AICPA to get the results from the Prometric centers. Why they didn't disclose that there is a time lag. I was sure the results are transferred via internet. Aren't we all know how to use this technology???

    @Xenia

    There are a lot of different weights and curves to consider in the grading. Plus, a lot of the Sims are hand-graded.

    @Xenia–Not to be a D.B. or anything, but that “asterisk” was included on the score release grid for Q4 of 2011, too. Ignorantia juris non excusat, imo.

    @jb – Pretty sure none of the sims are hand-graded, unless you have a borderline score on BEC.

    “Is scoring an automated process?

    Scoring is fully automated for all Examination components except for the written communication tasks. Some written communication responses are scored by a network of readers (CPAs), while others are scored using an automated process. All scoring routines – whether automated or not – are verified at various stages of the scoring process.”

    @katfid54 Yeah, it's stupid, but I didn't see that asterisk.

    @Xenia, yeah, I totally get it–it does suck. Maybe they'll do you a solid and go ahead and include your score in this wave?

    Maybe they'll do us all a solid and go ahead and release this Friday like we all thought they would.

    P.S. Just noticed that you and I had similar crummy Audit declines in our scores. I was super bummed by my 74 and then my 69 made me just want to have a nuclear meltdown. So, I feel your pain on waiting to hear back on that Audit score. Here's to hoping that–whenever we both get our scores–we'll both be done with this stupid test.

    I know this sounds crazy, but I took March 8 and 9 off from work as vacation days because I know my REG score will come out at that time. It's better I do that instead of going to work and having an unproductive day.

    lol, I am in TX and we don't even get our scores through NASBA. Ours is usually posted 2 days later at 430 am. I don't even bother checking the TX website any time after 430am.
