@ Peanut, thanks for the update!

It would be nice if the AICPA would at least let us in on the reason for the hold-up or tell us in definite terms that they will not be releasing another timeline…

    A - 77 PASSED (1/2 there!)
    F - 79 PASSED (3/4 there!)

Jeff, could you ask your AICPA contact what the deal is? This is ridiculous! Knowing if I passed Audit or not is going to affect my schedule. Thanks.

    DONE!

To be honest, I'm not really that upset. Last year Q1 score release we had to wait three months… so this is nada compared to last year. It is what it is.

    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
    REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
    FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67
    BEC 79 (X2) Previous score 58

But at least you knew that the wait would be about three months….. Now we are just in the dark….

    B - 79 PASSED (1/4 there!)
    A - 77 PASSED (1/2 there!)
    F - 79 PASSED (3/4 there!)
    R - 83 PASSED (DONE!!!!!!)

This is terrible. My anxiety just went up another level!

I don't see why they would step back and take longer to release scores for 2012 compared to the end of 2011. They don't have any huge changes like they did for 2011 which is why they took longer to release.

    I better pass AUD 🙂

I agree with y'all. There wouldn't be any reason to extend the release date later. However, as additional data becomes available for them to better score candidates' exams, they may be able to release scores earlier. Certainly, there's been no indication of that given for this cycle–indeed, there's been no indication given of any sort at all! But hopefully they'll at least stick to the same release timeline as the last cycle.

I've been at this for so long that in 2010, I'd get scores in 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. Then came 2011 with the dreaded 8-10 week wait. The changes to the score release really affected my progress on the exam. And it's just my opinion, but we shouldn't start calling NASBA, our state boards, and everybody's mother during score release. It won't make them release anything sooner and will probably just hinder their progress on getting scores out to us.

    Good luck, all! 🙂

    FAR - 79 (2x)
    AUD - 81 (expired), 77!
    REG - 74! omg (3x) 87!!!!!!! I'm done! OMG!
    BEC - 81 (4x)

Guys, I really think we'll be getting our scores on 2/3, according to the timeline:

    https://www.aicpa.org/BecomeACPA/CPAExam/PsychometricsandScoring/ScoringInformation/Pages/FAQ2011ScoreRelease.aspx

Think about it – why would they change the timeline every quarter? That would be a lot of work and would be just plain ridiculous. I could be wrong, but I am hoping for next Friday. Yeehaw!

The AICPA site says “After October 1, 2011 scores for the CPA Exam will be released by NASBA to state boards of accountancy based upon the table below.”

Notice it says AFTER OCTOBER 1, 2011….so it sounds to me like they're keeping the schedule the same unless otherwise noted. They haven't said anything so it's probably the same schedule as last quarter…woooo…only a week!
