I didn't think passing my first CPA exam would be as important, as it is turning out to be….

I didn't think I'd be so nervous to find out what the examiners thought of me….

I didn't think that I'd be looking forward to a time in my life when all I had to do was CPE….

As I read your post, I remember such fact pattern that if the 2nd and 3rd testlets dont get harder, it's more likely that I screwed up the test. Now I'm just waiting for nasba to release my fail score =( (by checking in every ten minutes!)

even so, I hope everyone gets their good scores!!! =)

Happy A, mine didn't get harder either.. but i hold on to the fact that hard is “relative”… maybe u and I had just studied so hard that everything seemed easy… hahahaha… is this the “audacity of hope?”

It doesn't seem like NASBA will tweet anything until tomorrow. Last release they started posting scores the day before and didn't say anything until the day after. I'm guessing they're trying to figure out a way for their servers not to crash every 2 seconds once they tweet 🙂 sneaky!!

I just logged into IL, at least my test shows up as “waiting for score”…earlier today it said nothing. I hope that means something for tonight or tomorrow morning.

Everytime I check scores, my heart drops each time until the screen refreshes. I get butterflies just thinking about it!

Does anyone else have someone come double check their score to make sure they've read it right? LOL When I got a 78 on BEC I had my boss come look to make sure it said 78 and not 73 😉

I've had that happen haha. I didn't believe it myself, finally a score showed up, and it was a 75 or 76, and I was so happy. then was like shit, did i misread it? checked it again, stared at it, and had my coworker come in to confirm haha.

I am, as it seems most people are, ridiculously nervous about this test. Not sure how it went, didnt feel great leaving even though i really did know a lot of it and studied… ahhhhh

oh and yeah I get that same feeling most times. MOreso the first time in the morning and after not checking for a while. or after hearing scores are finally being displayed. every click….

i had the exact same situation when i got the score for my first test. i called other cpa candidates to make sure i went into the right website and the website is legit and, more importantly, the score is legit. so nerve-racking!

the first section I passed, it felt like a weight was lifted from my shoulders. like “ok this is actually possible now… GET GOING”

i started auditing in a big 4 firm at a time when having a glass of wine with lunch was acceptable…. lol… we had to be TOLD it was no longer acceptable in an official notice by HR!!!

grrrrrr @ Enron…. There also wouldnt be SOX and I would have had to get my CPA years ago (I wouldnt be 12 years deep into my career doing CPA). instead I stopped at the CIA and here I am!!!
