IL scores are out. This is unreal, I passed AUD with a 78! Just the beast FAR left. Tomorrow though my plan is to call Becker and request that extension. Let's hope they give it to me, and I can take this in April and I'm DONE!!!!

Congrats to everyone else, and for those who had tough luck, I am telling you my biggest finding from studying that has helped me pass every single time, without fail:

Take a week off from work and devote your entire life the final week before the exam to the reviewing. If you do that, in my experience, after years (yes, years) of failing scores, you will pass. Every time I did a complete shut down except review 1 week prior to the exam, 7 days, I passed. Every time I didn't, I failed.

It may work for you, it may not, but it has for me, and I want to share it with you. Best of luck to all!

    Starting fresh in 2010 w/Becker!
    BEC: 74,80 (expired), 78 - FAR: 64, 60, 74, 68, 76 - REG: 70,60,75 - AUD: 74,78
Can't change the past but I CAN make the future.
    DONE - 6/8/13. After 6 LONG YEARS.

Congrats to those that earned a passing score. I was not so fortunate with a 70 for BEC. When I first came to this site, I remember reading many posts in which members told of feeling like they totally failed a section only to receive a passing score as well as feeling like they aced a section only to fail. I have to say, that has been my experience. When I left the audit exam, I chalked it up as experience and was cool with that fact that there was no way I would pass…..only to receive a passing score. When I left BEC (other than a problem with the “quit” option) I felt like I had aced it.

Oh well, that 70 has motivated me even more for FAR on the 29th.

    AUD- 80
    BEC- 70, 74, 80
    FAR- 72,75
    REG- 73,79 boooya!

@Veronica75 Thanks! Study hard and you'll do just fine.

Still wanna know how does the ethics exam in Texas work, anybody can help me on this one?

    FAR 5/29/2011 : 87
    REG 8/14/2011 : 84
    AUD 11/20/2011 : 85
    BEC 1/2/2012 : 91

    I'm done!

Just to recap–I took FAR early in this last testing window and felt completely demolished when I walked out of the prometric site. The majority of the multiple choice questions were several lines of text long with just as long answers and my simulations didn't mirror Becker's at all. Again, I felt absolutely deflated walking out of there…Fast forward to this weekend, I received an 81 passing score much to my disbelief.

Just a reminder to those who weren't so lucky with their exams this window–study your a$$ off and hope that you're exam feels extremely challenging. The time spent studying now will pay dividends in the future. (and don't forget, you debit the retained earnings account when the dividends are DECLARED)
