    Counting down to Wave 2!!

I figured I’d give us a new thread since the original is already up to 51 pages and threads can get “glitchy” (for lack of a better word) after too many pages.

Hopefully this score release goes better than Wave 1 technologically and we all get our scores business day before like in the past. 16 days, 4 hours, 35 minutes, 30 seconds until Friday, 2/22 @ 2pm (complete guess time).

What’s everyone waiting for? I’m waiting for AUD. Really hoping to be 3/4 done at the end of February!!!

It would be great if dmdunova's theory is correct. I just tried to re-register for AUD and was not allowed to register . I really hope that happened because I passed but I suspect that it has more to do with the notice that appears on the page where you check your scores that says “NOTE: You must wait at least 48 hours before registering to retake any sections of the examination you did not pass.”

    REG - 11/5/2012 - 80
    BEC - 1/17/2013 - 76
    AUD - 2/22/2013 - 70 4/5/2013 - 75
    FAR - 5/28/2013 - 75 - Done!!!

Question: What do you call someone who only gets 75's and 76's on the four parts of the CPA exam?

    Answer: A CPA

I am not sure if this still works, but here is a link to a thread from when it did:

“Since everyone is asking about this loophole, I figured it deserves its own thread.

Who does this work for? — NASBA Candidates who have past three parts and are waiting on the score for their fourth

When does it work? — After the AICPA has released your score to NASBA, but before NASBA has released your score.

    How does it work?

    1) Go to NASBA.ORG –> Exams –> CPA Exam

    2) Select OHIO and click “go”

    3) Click “Re-Exam Registration”

    4) Click “Apply Now”

    5) Click “Continue”

    6) Choose “No” for “Do you have an OHIO jurisdiction ID”…since you are not from OHIO

    7) Choose “Yes” for “Do you have a US SSN”

    8) Click Submit

    9) Type in the CAPTCHA letters, your Birth Date, and your SSN

    10) Click submit

11a) If you receive the following message, the theory is that you passed:

“We are sorry. Our system shows that you have already passed all parts of the Uniform CPA Examination. If you have questions, please call your Coordinator at the number given below. Please call the number below.

    800-CPA-EXAM

    615-880-4250″

11b) If you do not get this message and it lets you proceed, the theory is that you did not pass.

Does it always work? — Nobody knows. But it does NOT seem to work for ALL NASBA states.

Does it work at ALL? — If history is a guide from what I have read, everyone who got the message passed.

If you have different results, please share. Or correct me if I am mistaken.

Thanks to whoever originally found this out! I hope it holds true for me!”

The Ohio loophole was closed a couple of years ago so don't waste your time. And no, unfortunately you can't re-register for an exam until your score has been released. Not being able to register for it now is not an indication of anything other than your score hasn't been released. Sorry to be the harbinger of bad news! All we can do is wait.

Thanks MintsRGood!!! Same to you and everyone else!!!!! REG was my first exam and for whatever crazy reason, I started checking today for my score… ahahahahha… Just so I don't have an anxiety attack, I'm just going to wait until Friday afternoon, unless people start talking about their scores being released sooner 🙂

    AUD*82* 04.15.13(1)

My BEC score from wave 2 still hasn't been released, and I'm also waiting for my AUD score in wave 3. This double wait is excruciating. =(

    Passed all sections.

So as the score release gets closer I'm getting more nervous , can anyone tell me if they had a similar situation for FAR and passed ??…my first 2 testlest seemed very similar in difficulty ( not very long questions abt medium in level ) and then third testlest was very short questions . One sentence questions . The simulations were pretty straightforward didnt know them 100% but def felt that I did decent with it . My main concern is that the testlest didn't get harder and the third got even shorter .

Oh, I've reached a new low.

This is what the wait has done to me:

    https://www.facade.com/yesno/

I asked, hoping for a yes, and I got it!

Maybe I'll be able to sleep tonight.

@MCLKT. Well now you have me doing the same. I got a yes for passing so I asked whether I would fail and got a no. We'll see…

    AUD 01/17/2013 (92)
    REG 02/28/2013 (85)
    FAR 04/26/2013 (85)
    BEC 05/30/2013 (88)

@CPAwanabe, I had a similar FAR experience but I was absolutely scrambling to enter any information in those final sims because I ran out of time. I truly thought I'd be taking the test again and was very happy to find out I passed.

Rather than focus on your test experience, I'd also focus on your preparation. Did you do everything you could to prepare yourself for the exam? If you busted your butt to study and didn't cut any corners, I'd say you did pretty well. I'm waiting on my final REG score and regardless of the outcome, I take comfort in knowing that I prepared very hard and usually hard work is rewarded. Good luck to you!

    FAR - 80
    AUD - 78
    REG - 78
    BEC - 84

HAS anyone noticed that the score release is the 6th business day after the window closes,, and that should be the the 8th of March NOT the 11th,,, SO we should be getting our scores on the 7th not the 8th.

I wonder if that was a mistake from nasba when they scheduled it on the 11th !!!!

Canada – that has been discussed. AICPA confirmed they are sticking with the 11th. But most people are expecting the 8th. Some extreme optimists are hoping for the 7th.

MCLKT,, but that is not fair,, how come they say 6th day and then they release score on the 7th,, that's paradox
