Counting down to Wave 2!!

I figured I’d give us a new thread since the original is already up to 51 pages and threads can get “glitchy” (for lack of a better word) after too many pages.

Hopefully this score release goes better than Wave 1 technologically and we all get our scores business day before like in the past. 16 days, 4 hours, 35 minutes, 30 seconds until Friday, 2/22 @ 2pm (complete guess time).

What’s everyone waiting for? I’m waiting for AUD. Really hoping to be 3/4 done at the end of February!!!

I'd be willing to bet we'll see SOME scores by the 8th. Heck, maybe they'll even start rolling out on the 7th since that's the day they're kind of supposed to come out. I've got faith in you NASBA. Under promise, over deliver baby.

Waiting on the possible last one is the longest wait of all, sad it's only been two days. Anyone else not know what to do with their new found extra time? Only been a year but I'm so use to putting the kids to bed then jumping into review. I'm wishing for a march 1st release date!

I'm waiting on REG. The sims were brutal I felt like I was completely lost on one or two and just barely getting by on the rest.

MCLKT – haha, deal. I've been pretty understanding with the delays (though I was only affected in wave 1). It's my position that they release early on purpose in case anything goes wrong, which seems to be happening a lot lately. I technically can't complain until March 18th since I'm waiting on BEC taken 2/28, but hopefully I, and no one else, will have to wait that long! Gotta feel for the non-BEC people from wave 2 though, that's brutal. Good luck everyone!

Waiting on Reg :(. I don't think I passed. Once March 8th rolls around, I'm going to be too nervous to check. I also would like to pass ONE just so I can not feel discouraged. But the sims killed me so I don't think this will be it.

If I take my exam on Saturday, April 20th (which is the 20th day of the April/May testing window) do you think I'll still get my score on May 6th? I read this in the Score Release schedule that was emailed out, and I'm worried my score wouldn't be posted until May 23rd. I cannot wait that long!!!! This is my last exam and I want to know on 5/6 what my score is.

Note: ‘Day in Testing Window’ refers to the date the AICPA receives the test result, not the test date. Additionally, some candidates who take the BEC section might receive their scores approximately one week following the target release date due to additional analysis that might be required for the written communication tasks. Scores are generally released during regular business hours.

Anyone have experience with this? Should I schedule it sooner?

@joneskcj – It depends on whether or not your exam was received by the AICPA on the 20th day. Your chances are good that it will be transmitted by Prometric on the date that you took it, but who knows what time they transmit it. If they transmit through out the day, then I'd say, probably, but if they don't transmit until 2am the next day, then I'd say probably not! There are a lot of unknowns at play in this game!

@jones – is your exam scheduled in the AM or PM? I've read posts on here of people who took it on the last day and didn't get it with that wave. I think if you take the exam in the morning, you have a better shot. I took my AUD exam yesterday in the morning (started at 7:30AM), so hopefully mine will be released with wave 3.

Can you reschedule yours to 4/19? I originally had BEC scheduled for 4/20 but changed it since hopefully that'll be my last exam and I don't want to wait a month for the score.

thanks for the advice – i think i'll end up moving it up a day or two just to be sure. the waiting game is the worst and I think i'll go crazy if i have to wait until 5/23. better not risk it.

Testlets didn't seem that hard. I was easily able to answer over half right off the bat. Realized yesterday that I botched one of the sims (doh!).

I don't think I can do this again. This is my last exam. Please please please!
