    Counting down to Wave 2!!

    I figured I’d give us a new thread since the original is already up to 51 pages and threads can get “glitchy” (for lack of a better word) after too many pages.

    Hopefully this score release goes better than Wave 1 technologically and we all get our scores business day before like in the past. 16 days, 4 hours, 35 minutes, 30 seconds until Friday, 2/22 @ 2pm (complete guess time).

    What’s everyone waiting for? I’m waiting for AUD. Really hoping to be 3/4 done at the end of February!!!

    I took my BEC Jan. 31st. Am I in this wave or the last one??

    you should be in this wave @TheReal….I took BEC a few days after in IL (Feb 2nd) and still don't have my score either…ahhhhh…good luck!

    Okay quick question… Lets say you live and register to take the cpa exam in NY and failed a part of the exam. Can you take the exact same part in the same quarter in another state (NJ) and transfer scores to NY later if you pass that part?

    @TheRealMehulPatel, if you applied to take the CPA Exam with the New York state board of accountancy, even if you physically took the exam in New Jersey, you're score will still apply to New York. For example, I'm “sitting” for the exam in PA, but I am physically taking my tests in California. Unless you also applied to NJ board of accountancy to sit for the exam in their state as well, which makes it more complicated. I believe you can transfer your score, but you'd have to call up whatever authority conducts the CPA Exam in NY. Also, in the future, please ask such questions another topic in the forum, one that isn't specifically for Q1 2013 Wave 2 score release.

    @PSU. Thanks champ, I was able to speak to the state board of accountantcy in NY – James Franklin but he didnt know. Not sure who else to ask in NY, I need a contact number before I start calling away.

    Ideally, I dont mind registering with NJ, I mean the requirements shouldnt be that much more stringent than NY so I am sure to qualify. Just want to increase my chances of passing this thing within the same window while everything is still fresh in my head!

    I would imagine you would get your score in this wave, so I wouldn't give up hope. I'm in the same boat w/ REG, but took it 3 days later than you.

    I admit it's very weird that some REG scores haven't been released, and I thought I had it bad with BEC.

    REG WY 492. I am so confused and frustrated that I might have to wait until 3/11/13 to get my score for an exam that I took on 1/24/13. I guess I am going to start studying REG just in case even though I might have passed. I do not want to lose BEC. However, I doubt they will extend my BEC 18 month period two more weeks. This just doesn't seem fair.

    I am checking it like a crazy person. I guess if it wasn't this morning, it probably won't be today?
