Counting down to Wave 2!!

I figured I’d give us a new thread since the original is already up to 51 pages and threads can get “glitchy” (for lack of a better word) after too many pages.

Hopefully this score release goes better than Wave 1 technologically and we all get our scores business day before like in the past. 16 days, 4 hours, 35 minutes, 30 seconds until Friday, 2/22 @ 2pm (complete guess time).

What’s everyone waiting for? I’m waiting for AUD. Really hoping to be 3/4 done at the end of February!!!

I called NASBA was well and he said that they have not received a grade for me yet….does that mean that they receive it and then it takes a couple pf days to post? Or would it post the same day they receive it? Man this is confusing as hell.

@ Dallas9 – wow! this is crazy! Have you tried e-mailing them to confirm if they received your score? This score release is sooo weird….

I finally spoke to someone at Virginia board…he said the score is not there. Tried calling NASBA but I cannot get an “actual” person on the phone!!!

@Almostmommycpa yes, I believe some people from TX have already received their scores this morning, which means that we are either in a bubble, or since there are so many people still waiting for their scores FAR and REG scores it might be some system error… good luck!

I believe with BEC, if you are borderline, an actual person will review your exam.

Still no score- 499 BEC PA. Tried calling NASBA, but you cannot get a person on the phone…

@hiddenhead – the bubble refers to those in BEC whose scores fell into a range that automatically triggers the exam being graded by hand (close to passing and just above 75 scores). These people generally receive their scores a few days late.

@HiddenHeadCPA usually the written communication is graded by a computer. If you are too close to passing score bubble (73-78) the written communication will also be reviewed by actual people, and graded by them…..

REG 492 WY. OK now I am furious! I just spoke with Wyoming's NASBA representative and although I took the exam on January 24th, she said I won't be receiving my results until the next wave. She said the dates are not a guarantee and some people just do not receive their scores on the release date. I cannot believe this.

Okay- managed to get ahold of someone at NASBA. She said today is the official score release date. There is no order or state order for how they release the scores. The AICPA will give NASBA scores in bundles and once NASBA receives the bundle they will send it out. If you can't view your score it means NASBA doesn't have it yet.

The lady said the scores will be released periodically throughout the day, and if you don't have your score by COB today, call them tomorrow and they can look into why yours wasn't received.

@mags603, yes, IL has been posting scores. Since you took BEC, that might explain the delay. Sorry to hear you are still waiting- ILBOA can be very frustrating to deal with during score release time.
