Counting down to Wave 2!!

I figured I’d give us a new thread since the original is already up to 51 pages and threads can get “glitchy” (for lack of a better word) after too many pages.

Hopefully this score release goes better than Wave 1 technologically and we all get our scores business day before like in the past. 16 days, 4 hours, 35 minutes, 30 seconds until Friday, 2/22 @ 2pm (complete guess time).

What’s everyone waiting for? I’m waiting for AUD. Really hoping to be 3/4 done at the end of February!!!

@candothis.. I am so curious to see the end result of this score release. I forget, are you loosing any credits if you didn't pass FAR? I really hope we pass.

I can't wait until Friday….I'm going to knock out the Ethics Exam tonight to speed up the wait…That way I know I at least had 1 passing score this week…. 🙂

MA does not require Ethics. I would've done that.

@candothis are you man/woman? How many years out of college?

Did anyone from tx look into what is required after you pass the exam? Except for gaining the experience is there anything else to do while we wait?

What is the ethics exam everyone is scoring / talking about? I have never heard of it. I am from MI so perhaps it is not required in this state?

Adam – It varies state to state, but some states require a candidate to also pass an ethics exam to be a licensed CPA in that particular state.

AUD - 93
BEC - 80
REG - 86
FAR - 83

In Texas after passing all four parts, you are given an ethics “take home” exam to pass.

I don't believe I have to partake being that I haven't heard of it at this point. It just makes me a bit nervouse since I am right at the edge of my 18 month window. I will check with my State Board just to be sure. Thanks all.

Ethics exam has no impact on the 18 month window – that's CPA exam parts. Ethics exam, for states that require it, is a different exam entirely.
