    Counting down to Wave 2!!

I figured I’d give us a new thread since the original is already up to 51 pages and threads can get “glitchy” (for lack of a better word) after too many pages.

Hopefully this score release goes better than Wave 1 technologically and we all get our scores business day before like in the past. 16 days, 4 hours, 35 minutes, 30 seconds until Friday, 2/22 @ 2pm (complete guess time).

What’s everyone waiting for? I’m waiting for AUD. Really hoping to be 3/4 done at the end of February!!!

badger your explanation is the one missing on any of the FAQs. Nasba seems to embrace ambiguity for sure.

Certainly I can live with the wait, but thanks for your info.

Sandy and losing power for a week wasn't so bad. It was the pathetic lack of any contingency planning by Nasba that was the most annoying. It took me 2 days of holding on the phone just to get Prometric to reset my Section ID so I could reschedule. How stupid they can't automate something to say, hey test center closed = reset of IDs assigned there. That would be too easy I guess. It cost me 5 days of prep on FAR and worse, lost all my momentum on AUD which I missed by 4 points. My fault I finished the test in 2 hours, but I could have taken the test a day later if Nasba had its act in order. Reading the posts after the three feet of snow here it is painfully evident they simply don't care.

I have been pretty calm until NOW about score release. If I pass AUD, my first pass, I get to put it on my resume and my friend who works at Deloitte is setting me up with an interview there 🙂 If I don't pass, I'll have to get a position elsewhere. Just cool and inspiring thinking that little me from a tiny Minnesota town could possibly work at a Big 4 and have all the opportunity to be super successful.

@Allie – what really helps me studying/waiting is looking at peoples scores here, reading their stories. It shows me that even if I do fail, it's not the end of the world even though it SERIOUSLY ROYALLY BLOWS. Seeing people taking the exam 8 times but are now done gives me hope. It is a journey and process and although we all want to pass NOW, it takes time and we have to deal with that long, truly terrible, possibly failing, process (most of us anyway) But you gotta think that you are wasting time and energy waiting for something that will not be released today, or tomorrow, or even the next day, so you have to ignore/get over it and use this valuable time for passing the next one. (can you tell I am also trying to avoid studying right now 😛

    AUD: 84
    REG: 84

@sln1000 – I'm in that boat for sure.

How many of you are going on the job hunt once you've passed all 4?

    FAR - Bad Fail '11, Fail '12, Fail '13, PASS It's a miracle!
    AUD - Fail, PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    BEC - PASS!!!!!!!!
REG - PASS!!!!!!!! And I'm done!

    FAR 76
    AUD 67, 83

hey guys am the only one who checked the release schedule a few weeks ago? It said before that target release date for wave 2 was feb 25th but now i looked on nasba website and it says target release for wave 2 is feb 22nd? does that mean there is a possibility we will have scores thursday for nasba states?

What really upsets me is that I have to wait for a score release for my last exam, when AUD is expiring on 1/31/2013. I don't even have time to get a new NTS to sit for AUD if I have to!

    AUD - 85

I wish there was a way to know at least pass/fail in situations like this, when credit is expiring….

@cpa 77777 – That sucks. One of the many things that could be improved about this process. Hopefully you passed and don't have to worry about AUD at all!!

I'm so impatient when it comes to this. Even busy season can't keep me preoccupied. Grrrr.

so i took my AUD exam on feb 14th, what are the odds of it coming out this wave?

    FAR 90
    BEC 87
