AnonymousInactiveI've been without internet for about a week (moving), so just getting back to the forum and seeing a bit of what's been going on…and so happy to see this!! 🙂 I always love the fact that your posts were so positive regardless of what you had going on…when you were leaving your 20th-plus sitting and wondering if you'd passed, you'd still get on here and encourage someone who was worried about whether they'd passed their first exam, and still get on here and celebrate with people who had just passed their 4th. It takes a lot of strength of character to be able to celebrate or grieve with people regardless of what you were dealing with! Congrats on finally being done!!! 🙂

AnonymousInactiveLilla: I remember a few posts where I was ready to give up and may be not so positive. I'm glad you didn't see those! :). Thanks for the kind words. I hate to see folks ready to give up. I know it's hard and feels impossible sometimes but I also know it can be done.
Thanks again everyone. I got a scanned copy of my work verification form today and I found out that the CPA firm I worked for is being sold next week. One more week and that form would've been hard to get!
We got a lot of snow tonight and we are pretty much home for the weekend. It feels weird to go to my home office and not have to study! Good weird. I do have a 10 page paper due Monday so I better get to it. I managed to have a 97% average in the masters class on top of surgery, travel to Georgia, a new job and everything else!

AnonymousInactive@Baxter I saw some of those, but that doesn't detract from what I was saying. 😛 We all have our personal struggles, but I meant that you were still good to those around you even in the midst of them. When you got back your last failing score, you didn't get on here and see someone who just failed their first test and say “Give it up bro – there's nothing here for you. It's just a long grind with nothing good at the end.” If you couldn't be positive that day, you might just post your own thread about your struggles…but if you did post in the thread where someone had just failed, you would say something sympathetic but encouraging. That's what I was meaning. You don't have to be cheerful 100% of the time – just good to people regardless of whether cheerful or not. 🙂
