I thought it would be a good idea to start a new thread for those waiting on the 8/25 score release! I’m waiting on BEC. If I pass, I will finally be done with these exams. So I’m hoping for good news…

Anyone else waiting for scores? How do you guys feel about your exam?

Need advise how to pass BEC!
Just find out I fail BEC with a 57. I fell devastated because this is the last exam I need to pass to finish this long journey. Any tips will be gladly appreciated also, English is my second language and need advise how to study for the written part of this exam. Thanks

Just use all the relevant key words for the written part. For instance, if the topic is about bonds then use key words like premium, amortization, discount, investment value, and how market interest rate impacts the vaule of the investment.

IL is up. I passed BEC. I'm done!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a miracle.

For BEC, I did not think I will pass on the 1st attempt. It took me 2 hours to complete 61 MCQs and skipped 1 SIM. You never know the result until you see it. So don't be discourage.

    Good luck to you ALL!

@cpaoneday I would suggest that you try and keep things simple for the written section of BEC. I could see how that would be difficult for someone who english is a second language. I agree with @CPAHOPE that it is important to get in the key words. If you look at the question there are usually some key words that you could grab from the question itself. Also review the written samples that are provided with your review course as well as the AICPA samples and use those as a template for how you will answer and structure your written responses. From those examples you could use the exact same intro and conclusions as long as it makes sense. If you keep it simple, use key words, and well structured you should fair well.

Thank you for your advise I will do that. I just can't wait to see the end of this. I am so sick of these exams.
