I thought it would be a good idea to start a new thread for those waiting on the 8/25 score release! I’m waiting on BEC. If I pass, I will finally be done with these exams. So I’m hoping for good news…

Anyone else waiting for scores? How do you guys feel about your exam?

I never left any of my exams feeling I passed, honestly. I don’t think I’ve even heard someone on this forum say “I definitely passed that exam!” So you’re in good company 🙂

Waiting for FAR as well, I tend to walk out thinking “geez that was rough” but as time goes by as the score release approaches I get slightly more confident, but won't know until 8/25 (or 8/24 hopefully)

This is my third time “seriously” taking REG, meaning when I have actually studied for it. Got a 73 and a 74, respectively the first two attempts. This time I switched to Becker and used their lectures, MCQ, and Final Review book. I know the CPA exam is often an opposite result of how you were feeling (i.e. you think you bombed and actually got an 89, and vice versa), but for my REG exams my gut has been spot on. This time I felt truly better. I am also trying not to get my hopes up. When it is all said and done, if I was truly 1 point from passing last time, I think I have done at least 1 point better this go round. I really really hate the idea of having to wait a month for my results (I took this exam at the end of July), but the exam has always been that way. I feel like that is something that desperately needs improvement. I have been in accounting for nearly 9 years and I just never thought I would want to pass the exam so I blew it off for years, which is not the way to go. Now that I am close to passing, it feels surreal. I pray for a passing grade and to be done for my sake, and my loved ones' sake.

Edit: I just simply don't know why a rolling score release can't happen. It should be a goal to have exams graded and scores released in 10 days after a candidate takes the exam.

Just did BEC today. One of the SIMS was hard and long….but still hoping to pass it! Does anyone know if it's going to be the excate one week later after August 25th for BEC?

It really depends, I received my BEC score the same day as the release score date.

The timing of your score release for all exams depends on when Prometric sends it and for BEC a delay can occur if you are in the bubble and require human review of your exam.

I took AUD -my 3rd section – on Aug 5 score and waiting for Aug 25 score release. I have started preparing for my last section REG since last week. I could have taken it 2 weeks earlier but I would not have had a chance revise some more. I am hoping the 1000 MCQs I reviewed in last couple of weeks prior to AUD will help me in in the end.

I did not feel very confident leaving the AUD exam mainly because the 1st SIM section was hard. I did not feel that I bombed it either. I just have to wait for the score release at this point. I have decided not to think too much about it and try to focus on studying for REG.

I took exam#2 in May- so I guess the eye-ball trick will not work. I have been taking only 1 exam in a quarter with REG planned for first week of October.

Good luck to all those waiting for scores on Aug 25. I believe it will be released late evening on Aug 24 going by recent experience

Took BEC today & it was brutal, I spent almost 2 hours on Mcq's ( for the first time in my life!) and ran out of time on the last WC. I had a long ass sim that I didn't even understand half of it, I was crying when I looked at the clock and saw 1.5 hrs left and I didn't even finish the 3rd testlet. 2 sims were very easy and got them right, other 2 50-40% correct. I think I will score worse this time. This is soooo different than the other exams, BRUTAL! I need a miracle

You passed, you're nailed two SIMs, one you are not sure about and other one is most likely a pretest and one of the WC also a pretest. You got it.

I think we might have gotten the same SIM. I took mine on the 14th, and one of the SIMs was super super long with a lot of attachments……… and that was my very first SIM, such a bummer!!

I took AUD yesterday. Here is my thought. It is either easy or I just did everything wrong lols. We'll find out on the 25th.

Hey all!

I wrote my Reg exam on 12th of August… I am super nervous about the result… i hardly had any question from Taxation. I was so frustrated almost left the xam at the middle. Waiting for the results.
