Is a passing score on REG!

    May 2016 – 70
    July 2016 – 72
    December 2016 – ??

I feel like I’ve been studying for this section all year. Used the entire Wiley course, Ninja notes/mcqs/audio and this time bumped it up by adding the Roger cram course. Felt so prepared, but man I had some tough questions! Not sure what to think. Terrified to see the clock hit midnight on Thursday.

Best of luck to everyone waiting on their scores!

    BEC - 84 *
    AUD - 73, 76 *
    REG - 70, 72

I took 4 weeks off work (FMLA) in order to 1) enjoy time with my newborn 2) end the misery of REG by putting in tons of hours. I didn't slack off I put in 150-175 hours in those 4 weeks and still feel like I came up short. @nholevas I will not give up and its great to see you defeated these exams. I kept telling myself if I have an exam drop off that's where I draw the line-I'm done. Hopefully I don't have to cross that bridge–In all honesty I don't think I would give up but I can't imagine how terrible that would feel.

@nholevas Congratulations! What did you do differently to go from a 74 to a 92 in Aud?

@stilgoin @dtatham10 I was so frustrated, because each time I left the prometric center, I felt confident enough that I passed, just like every other section, only to get a failing score. I knew I was missing something, so the fifth time I just started the whole process over as if I never studied the AUD section before. I revisited the Becker materials to study the multiple choice (minimum 3 times – 1592 questions X 3) and TBS (minimum 2 times for each TBS), and the notes and audio from Ninja, which I listened to in my car to and from work daily for about a month. When I left the testing facility last August, I thought to myself “If I did not pass this test, there is something wrong with the AICPA.” And I got a 92. Which was not a surprise at that moment.

    @Charlene

Have you got any tips for jumping up 10 points in REG? I scored a 70, and I'm retaking in January. I'd love to jump 10 points like you. How'd you do it?

@charlene I used Becker for my studying. Made sure I did each question 3 times and each TBS 2 times. I wrote down each formula for the calculations on index cards, and memorized them, or at least understood conceptually what each one meant. That was what I did for passing REG.

The exam is driving me insane!
I took the Regulation exam on Dec 4th, and grade is going to come today.
I walked out the testing center dumb-folded. The first testlet is definitely the hardest, the second becomes easier and third is the easiest. Simulation is not difficult, but I know there are some concept questions that I missed for sure. But overall it's not bad.
Then I went home and read a lot of forums, people keep saying that if your testlet didn't get harder, it means that you didn't do well on the previous testlet. I'm SO worried and having anxiety attacks for two weeks. Reg is my last exam, if I pass, this is going to be a hell of a Christmas to celebrate. If I fail, I have one more chance Feb next year before start losing credit.
Adding insult to injury, this Monday when I do my routine check of the portal, they says I didn't even register for the exam, let along show up to take it. Thank goodness I kept my paperwork. They got it resolved but still have some issues. I can actually register for my next window which shouldn't happen normally, meaning I'm still having issues. My fear is two folds. One, obviously, I failed; Two, the issue is not resolved completely and my grade would not show up 1AM tonight, which I'm going to check check double check every 10 nano-second.

I saved audit for last bc I thought it would be my best. Failed with a 71, so not a CPA this year. That is all I wanted for Christmas as well. 🙁
